Strandhotels in Amphoe Klaeng

I recently stayed 7 nights at Mae Pim Resort Hotel. The hotel was generally OK, it's old, the location is across from the beach, but although we had a Seaview room, I couldn't see the sea because of trees and since there is a seafood market opposite the hotel there was a consistent smell of grilled squid. The swimming pool was really nice. Breakfast was included, but as there weren't many people staying there Monday to Friday, the choice was limited and wasn't worth the money we paid. There was always a fair amount of road noise too which made it uncomfortable at times.
