Strandhotels in Département Pas-de-Calais

Very nice hotel, perfect location, convenient for shopping. Large, very comfortable room. Breakfast was somehow disappointing. Limited selection of food. The lower star rating hotels within the vicinity offer much more for breakfast. All in all, we would come again.

Nice clean spacious rooms.... great food..... stayed here many times, the only thing that now puts us off is the ”dynamic pricing” which means you can pay up to £40 more for the same room, so the return journey which for us was 1 week later meant we stayed elsewhere.  

Sehr schönes Hotel, leicht zu erreichen, sehr angenehmes und freundliches Personal, angenehmes Restaurant, hochwertiges Frühstück und Abendessen, erstklassiger Service. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Mangel an Stauraum im Badezimmer. Wir können einen tollen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

HOTEL was nice, staff were attentive. However, we were given a room on the second floor and the roof was sloping. I hit my head on a very low beam lower than the doorway to the bathroom and cut my head open. on reporting the low beam and my cut head the staff didn’t seem very concerned. At 6 am lawnmower, leaf blowers were working at the golf course directly opposite which woke us up. 

Nice location however the hotel car park it is not well signposted. Average breakfast for the price. No drawers in the room no minibar or fridge, very basic amenities for a 4 star hotel. The shower door in the bath went beyond the bath edge and allow water to go on the floor creating a paddle in the bathroom. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointing experience considering the price to pay for a mediocre dinner. The staff are completely oblivious to guests requests or suggestions. We ordered the deep fried squid and they were just served as finger food, piping hot when I asked for a plate to transfer the squid from a napkin cone with kitchen foil propping the squid to make it look plentiful, I was told tge you have to eat it with your fingers??. Pepper steak that tasted and looked terrible, the steak was cooked to the right temperature however burned on the outside, the so called peppercorn sauce was just a pan wash, no pepper at all, no stock or seasoning, it tasted like water and salt. I had a bottle of red Burgundy that I drink regularly and to my dissatisfaction on tasting the wine it was unbalanced, when I pointed this out to the staff, the wine was taken away somewhere in the back, the waitress then returned to say that her colleague had said that the wine was fine and that decanting it would correct the wine. The decanter was clearly chipped on the rim and I objected and requested at the least a non chipped one. The wine didn’t correct. Apart from the company of my wife and the garden surrounding all the rest was very unlike of what a 4 star hotel’s restaurant should provide. The grounds of the hotel are very relaxing and comfortable,

Schönes Hotel. Obwohl die Mitarbeiter am Empfang sehr freundlich waren, gab es ein Problem mit ihnen, dass ich nicht bezahlt und ich direkt über Trip.com bezahlt hatte, gab es keine Fragen zum Abflug und musste nur die Stadtsteuer zahlen. Schönes großes Zimmer mit einem oberen Stock und Balkon, denken Sie, es war ein Familienzimmer, wie Betten oben. Warnen Sie, das Bad ist sehr hoch und ich fiel aus dem Bad, weil ich kurz bin! Auch mein Partner, der über 6 Fuß ist, sagte es war hoch. Sehr sauber, schönes Barpersonal bei der Bar. Der Schwimmbad ist schön, aber es wurde extrem besetzt. Es ist ziemlich ein Spaziergang von der Stadt 15-20 min. Ich würde zurückgehen und wieder bleiben.

We spent just 1 night there in transit. The Room was clean and tidy. Everything you needed was in there. Nice friendly staff. Excellent Parking and security too. Close to Restaurants and shops to distract the kids. We went to the Chinese Buffet Grill (3 minutes walk from the Hotel) and it was superb... Highly recommended...!!!

Nice staff. Center location with river view. Carrefour supermarket is just near the hotel.

I stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights. The hotel is ideally situated close to the centre of town. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has an old vintage feel to it which we liked. The room and bathroom were both clean with comfortable beds.

Front desk staff, Tiddy, waited me one hour after the usual closing time. He speaks fluent English and is very friendly. The parking is a little tricky. If you’re lucky, you can park your car free of charge after certain hour until 8:30 next morning on the street in front of the hotel. After 8:30, paying for two more hours at the machine, you can park till 10:30. I like the device which blows out hot air in the bathroom. Other amenities are very basic. Minimal in my opinion. I gave a 5/5 considering the price and the service I received.
