Strandhotels in Selva

Absolutely loved my stay there, the staff was so nice and welcoming. My room was small but I didn't need more space - the bed was double and very comfy and I had my own bathroom (pretty big in comparison) with lots of towels, fresh soap and tubes of showering gel (I travelled lightly so it was welcomed) so what else can one need. I loved the included breakfasts and the breakfast timeslot (from 8 to 12 - take notes all you other hotels out there!). There was a lot of variety for the price so IMO the food should satisfy most of the folks - I liked chorizo and cured ham, the wide selection of vegetables, the bread and croissants, and last but not least, the coffee was, pardon my expression, pretty damn good for a two star hotel. Tea was very ordinary in comparison but still okay. Having a kettle and a fridge in my room was super convenient. Wifi and tv quality was great. The walls aren't thick so when there's more guests it can get noisy - which didn't happen often to me but I can imagine how it can be during the high season - but that's a problem in most hotels all over the world. People are noisy animals, most of them. So if you are easily irritated etc consider taking & using earplugs, I guess. There were only two real downsides, let's say one and a half because only one was serious. My room was a bit too warm for my taste and when I realized that opening the window doesn't help, I tried using the air conditioning - which didn't work. I tried all the options, and the cooling mode made the room warmer instead of cooler. Which was a bummer. I didn't report that to the staff, since it wasn't a big issue for me at the moment - I spent most of my time outside the hotel anyway and came back at night when it was much cooler. But I can imagine it becoming a serious problem during the regular season in the summer or later in the spring. Air conditioning in a place like Tossa is essential, so yeah, better fix that ASAP, Turissa. Another thing, very minor this time, was that the cleaning lady who goes in to your room every day has a habit of straightening out the sheets on the bed every time. Yeah, like she did that every single day, lol. I mean I'm not that picky... Are you guys that picky (whoever reads this) ? Just leave it be and save yourself the work, lady, because you know it's gonna be a mess the next day, and the next, and the next - so it's like fighting windmills - unless your name is Donna Quixote, this is something uncalled for. But you know guys, if that's the only complaint one can make about the hotel, then you know Turissa is more than alright. Amiright or amiright guys;) Wish I could stay longer. PS: Oh and there's a pool for the guests, too. I didn't really have time to use (we were more excited dipping our toes in the sea anyway) it but I could watch it every day from the cantina when having my breakfast. Nice!

Ein wenig preiswert, aber verständlich angesichts der Spitzenzeit. Der Service war unverschämt. Verbrachte die meisten meiner Morgen in ihrer Dachbar, die wirklich groß mit großen Aussichten & Service ist. Das Zimmer selbst war groß genug & das Hotel ist sehr nahe am Strand & alle besten Restaurants. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfohlen. Wir genossen wirklich das Frühstücksbuffet, das viele Optionen bietet. Wir würden sehr empfehlen.

First the positives, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was really good. The outdoor spaces were beautiful. We didn't keep the air conditioning on because the system was old-fashioned, the machine made a really loud noise and the blowing was quite strong. However, the biggest minus was that the gym's age limit was 18. I would recommend setting it to, for example, 14 because young people are keen exercisers. Likewise, the spa was a disappointment because the children couldn't get there. It was also a surprise that the hardest sunbathing spot was forbidden to children. If you don't want families with children in your hotel, it would be good to let them know.

The hotel service is very good, the room is very clean; the location is very convenient, just a 6-minute walk from the bus station, and it only takes 8 minutes to the beach; I would like to make a few suggestions about the facilities: the water in the outdoor swimming pool is ice and not heated at all; only the hot tub can be used in this season, but the time is closed a little early; the Wi-Fi function is not very stable, and the front desk staff changed the conference Wi-Fi to succeed; but in general, it is a cost-effective experience, and I will recommend it to my friends!

Hotel in der Nähe des Fußballstadion von Lloret, ein wenig von der Erregung entfernt und in der unmittelbaren Nähe der Straßen, die Geschäfte anbieten. Etwa 500m vom großen Strand entfernt. Hotel sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch französisch sprechend. Der Rahmen ist wunderschön mit seinem Pool, der sich die Nacht beleuchtet. Der Abendbuffet war richtig. Beachten Sie, dass Getränke bezahlen und nicht enthalten, was ein wenig schade ist. Das Frühstück ist kontinental mit Kaffee, Konserven, Eiern, Bacon, Käse, Getreide, ect... Es gibt alles, was man will. Der Zugang zum Innenpool, zum Spa und zu Sportanlagen ist bezahlbar. Das ist auch schade. Es wäre besser, einen Endpreis mit den enthaltenen Optionen festzulegen, als mit seiner Bankkarte für Getränke und Anlagen zu gehen. Am Abend gab es eine Musikanimation. Die Öffentlichkeit war Senioren. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel für ältere Menschen, aber nicht für junge Menschen, 30 Jahre, Quarantäne oder 50 Jahre. Ich bin 50 Jahre alt, ich mag Spaß und das Hotel ist nicht für mich, besonders wenn man in Lloret de mer kommt. Um sich zu entspannen, ruhig zu sein, wird dieses Hotel ideal für Sie sein, und vor allem gibt es keine Kinder, und wenn man sich ausruhen will, ist das super!

The hotel is ok, but the service is quite bad. There are no people at the reception, so I communicated with them via what's up. While they claim 24h support, they don't respond in the evenings. The what's app bot is terrible: every time you start convesation, you recieve a few messages from bot, which are completely useless, connecting directly to people would have been way more convinient. Also the support itself is not great at some aspects, like I informed them in the beginning of our stay that the light above the bed works badly, like it works for short time, then it stops and asked to change the bulb, which they didn;t do during the whole duration of our stay. In some cases they were helpful, I must admit, but nothing special. The breakfasts are also quite bad and below from what you expect from 4 stars hotel (even in 3 starts in Spain I got better breakfasts). Overall, this electronic receptions feels very liveless. The condition of the hotel is also quite poor. Like there is massive hole in the ceiling in the passage close to the restaraunt, bucket under this hole and it doesn;t seem like they are going to fix it. I would not recommend this hotel.

Arrived early hours of the morning and was greeted by a lovely young man on reception. Very friendly and gave me a warm welcome. Room was adequate for a solo traveler and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was as with all Blue Sea accommodation. Loads of choice and plenty of it. Only stayed for 2 nights but would definitely return.
