This place only has 9 rooms and their property description does not match what they actually provide. The bathroom door is for someone 5 feet 9 inches or less, there are no bath mats in any rooms which is extremely dangerous. Staff was not helpful. The property description says there is onsite parking but there is not. There is no one to help with luggage. Stairwells are dimly lit and smelled like old urine.

A wonderful old inn near Bath City centre (We didn'tstay in the hotel). Offering only local beverages from Bath, Bristol and the West Country. Toilets downstairs so perhaps not that accessible. Very friendly and product knowledgeable staff especially the hardworking young lady from Essex who is doing her Masters Degree in International Security (hopes to be a spy or a diplomat). Apologies for not catching her name. We will definitely revisit on a return visit to Bath. Try the food and also the nighttime. Worth further investigation.

Lovely room in a perfect location! Checking in & out was simple and quick, staff friendly & helpful. The room was equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & a smart tv! Breakfast was excellent and a great choice including coffee/tea & or juice! Would definitely stay here again!

Service was very accommodating by letting us drop off our bags several hours before check in. Breakfast included in the room feee was good and plenty. The rooms were clean, and the location is great. High quality fan kept our room cool in mid-summer.

Just had a lovely few nights at The Black Fox. Great location, an easy walk to many of Baths interesting locations such as the Thermae Spa, Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge and shopping area. Friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent breakfast. There is some noise at night from people at local bars but not too much. Parking is close by at Southgate (4mins walk).

Excellent Room en suite and facilities.Excellent food downstairs and a nice bar opposite the college.Very nice staff.Strange asymmetric bars on the bed was a first but very comfortable. The only problems are uneven floors and stairs which doesn’t make it disabled friendly but the same could be said for 90 % of Bath.central location makes it a bit noisy. Nearby Car Parking about £17.00 for 24hrs is ok and just round the corner from the attractions. Thank you.

Brilliantly sized room good quality breakfast right in the centre comfy nights sleep. Parking is not so great if you have a blue badge you can get right outside the hotel if there is space. Good nightlife and the pub is nice. No noise pollution

Lovely spacious room at the heart of Bath (minutes from the Roman baths and the abbey). The room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom had a nice bath and the bed was comfy too. The included breakfast was also good. Note that due to its location, the room was a bit noisy during the stay. Also the blinds were not great.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights, and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel is close to everything; 5 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to the Thermae Spa, 5 minutes to the Roman Baths, and 10 minutes to Pulteney Bridge. We loved that breakfast was included in our stay and just assumed it would be pastries and coffee in the morning but were happy to find that they had a breakfast menu, so we ordered the homemade Belgian waffles and full English breakfast, which were incredible! We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be booking The Black Fox the next time we are there!
