Best Western Batesville

Check in was a little challenging. The electronic keys issued to our room did not work. We got replacement keys that also didn't work. The front desk then issued us a different room. This room had two queen beds rather than the king bed room that I had reserved. When I used my key to get into the exercise room the key also didn't work. I went down to the pool and unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order. I assume that they would have opened up the exercise room for me, but after two rounds of failed keys I didn't feel like going back to the front desk. The room was a little warm, so we tried turning on the air conditioner. The air conditioner was so loud that we turned it off. Overall the room was clean and pretty comfortable, although the mattresses were pretty soft. I did not notice any noise during the night. The breakfast was good and the people working at the breakfast were constantly keeping things clean and filled. Overall, the stay was average. They really need to get their electronic keys working better.

The room was nice…….we had a four night stay with NO HOUSEKEEPING!! Had to ask and go get fresh towels. Had a coffee maker but had to ask for coffee packets in order to have coffee in the room. The fact that the bed wasn’t made or the trash wasn’t dumped for four days was ok…….but should have fresh towels at least every other day!!

This was one of the worst stays I've ever had. The night clerk when we checked in was terribly rude. I had a reservation for an accessible room, with an added note that i was in a wheelchair. The bathroom was fine, it was the only aspect of the room that was accessible. Could not fit the wheelchair between the bed and heater, and barely around the bed! The bed itself was so high, i needed assistance just to get on it! Additionally, the bed was higher at the foot, lower at the head, and bowed down in the middle. Will stay elsewhere when I'm in the area! If you are handicapped, avoid this place!

They need to clean around the edges/floor corners better. I do Pilates in my room and the floor board areas and areas you can see while lying on the floor desperately need attention.

The web site picture look good,but then when you get there.Are first room was terrible, the heat or air didnt work there was mold all in the unit,the shower was not what you wanted to put your feet in. I went down and the guy knew the unit wasnt working. I ask for another room. So the second one i went to had mold in the shower. The plug ins had rust all on them and there was someones hair on the night stand. So they put us in another room. It was ok. The problems that i had with it was that the paint was coming of the wall a above the shower and the fridge smelled like dirty feet in it. There was a big gap around the door so everything you could hear,the kids said they could hear everything we were talking about . They were right across the hall in another room .They came to are door and they heard what we were talking about. Needless to say, we were very disappointed,for the money we paid $233.00]) unit,the shower was not shower

Over all, good. The shower door handle was partly off. Staff was nice and efficient. Eating options were close.
