"We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately it was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we tried to enter our room only to find that the cleaners were still preparing it, which immediately gave a poor first impression. The check-in process itself was also slow, with over 15 minutes’ wait before we were even attended to. Once we finally got into the room, the temperature was unbearable and made it very uncomfortable to relax. On top of that, the room itself felt extremely dated and in need of serious refurbishment, with visible wear and tear throughout. The issues continued into the next morning. After ordering a cooked breakfast, we were left waiting for over an hour for it to arrive, which is simply unacceptable. There was also no fresh juice available, which added to the disappointing breakfast experience. To make matters worse, we were charged for parking, something that was not advertised at the time of booking, leaving us feeling misled. Overall, this stay fell well below the usual standard we expect from Premier Inn. We have honestly had better experiences at Travelodge, which says a lot. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or recommend this property based on our experience."
