Premier Inn Barrow-In-Furness

We stayed here for 1 night after visiting Lake Windermere for a day out. Check-in in was good, very friendly lady on reception. The hotel is split in two. One block where reception is and another block over the car park. We booked a Premier Plus room which was located in the same building as reception. It was very nice and clean. The Nespresso machine had Tesco Finest pods not Nespresso as was the complimentary water in the little fridge. This does not bother us but I thought I would mention it. There is a "big" Tesco right over the road. Google will tell you it's a 5 minwalk, it's about 1 minute. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant attached it's a Brewers Fayre next door. The evening meal was not good. The starters were cold and the mains were mediocre at the best (partner paid for the upgrade to a mixed grill and most of it was cold, overcooked and inedible). The breakfast was slightly better but I wouldn't run back. I always look at hotels as would I go back and to be honest I couldn't fault the room or the staff so I would! I'd just swerve the meals and nip to Tesco.

I stay here often, usually around two nights a week at a minimum and Amy is one of the warmest and most hopeful front desk workers I have met. I stay here often and she always makes you feel welcome and at ease. She is friendly, great with the customers and a true credit to Premier Inn Barrow

We have been staying at this Premier Inn since it opened to visit family, but it is getting well past its best. Air conditioning. We spoke to reception twice and it still didn't get fixed. In one room the air conditioning didn't work at all, so we were eventually given a fan. In the second room, the air conditioning was on full blast but the control screen was blank and wouldn't turn on, so we couldn't turn the air conditioning off, leading to a cold and noisy night for one of us. WiFi. The WiFi didn't work for any of us at all. Even when we attempted to connect to the premium (which for basic browsing we shouldn't need to) it still didn't work. Smell. The room had a strange, musty, chemically smell which stuck to our clothes. There was nobody on reception to report these things to as we left, which was frustrating.

The room was absolutely gorgeous I loved it there was also little gifts for the kids the only thing that I was disappointed with was was the internet connection and genuinely the signal my phone wasn’t working at all only outside but generally my stay here was amazing

Hi on arrival I was given a warm welcome from the staff Kerry & Paula they both where very professional and helpful they where friendly they say service with a smile if I am ever in area I will always book this hotel it makes a big difference when you are meet with a smile after travelling several hours booking in was very speedily.The Lady’s went above and beyond to make me welcome they are a real asset to the premier inn chain .

Paula on front desk absolutely amazing, couldn’t be more helpful, I had a problem on check in and she sorted quickly, very friendly and great credit to premier inn. Hotel clean, food very good, ample parking and good vibe, will definitely stay again.
