Fantastische Wohnung. Ich war auf einer Einzelreise, aber das wäre perfekt für Freunde, Familienpaare oder Geschäfts. Vollständig mit einem Kühlschrank, Backofen, Küchenartikel usw. großer Duschedruck. Komfortable Bett/Bademäntel. Hatte eine kleine Frage einchecken, da es eine elektronische Kontrolle ist, aber es gibt ein Telefon verfügbar und sie schickten jemanden direkt um Hilfe. Die einzige Kritik, die so ein kleines Detail ist, war, dass ich das Essen, das in der Wohnung neben der Tür gekocht wird, riechen könnte. Andernfalls kann ich nicht fehlen! Sie haben offenbar 18 Standorte in Portugal oder Lissabon, so werde ich defo wieder die Wohnungen verwenden!!

What a wonderful, but entirely individual, experience. The set up is one side is a hostel (quite a nice one), where reception, casual tapas restaurant and breakfast are served. The other side is the suites, with a rooftop bar and smart restaurant. The character is faded elegance, shabby chic - entirely purposely and is so authentic. The vibe is superb service from a young, friendly and efficient staff. If you want a suited and booted experience, go elsewhere and probably get worse service. The rooms are of average size, although mine, in comparison with my friends’ had a HUGE bathroom. High ceiling make the rooms feel airy. Proper antique shutters make for a proper blackout experience. The rooms do have areas with peeling paint and could be described as rustic for some - but they are clean and charming and we were delighted. If you want a quiet venue - do not come here - it is noisy, it is in a central location with bars and restaurants around. That said, it is perfectly located to get everywhere in Lisbon. The breakfast which you attend with the hostel residents (who were all lovely) was super, with a good selection - would have liked a little prepared fresh fruit - you can order specialist coffees and hot food as included in the suites rate (these extras have to be paid for by the hostel residents). The same area, with its terrace, houses a tapas restaurant which we visited on the first night. Superb food and service. The rooftop bar is a real treat. AMAZING views with excellent vibe and service. The restaurant beside it we did not visit as did not appeal, but no reason to suspect it wasn’t anything other than fab - as v busy! Lastly, the young chaps on the reception desk were soooo helpful and friendly - perfect English and the wonderful lady in charge of breakfast has to have a mention - what a character and such a super person to have there for the younger travellers. Looking at the reviews, some people just don’t “get it” - it is a different experience from a modern, chain hotel - but we found it wonderful. We heard they are going to be opening other places, but judging by the descriptions, they will be different to this - we would love for them to open things JUST LIKE THIS in other European cities - it is a one off currently and we would like to see more.

Auch unter CV19-Bedingungen erwarte ich von einem Hotel, welches sich vier Sterne an die Fassade heftet, erheblich mehr. Jeden Morgen das gleiche Prozedere, Kaffee in ToGo-Bechern in einer Papiertüte zusammen mit einem Apfel und Holzmesser, in Alufolie eingewickeltes „Sandwich“ mit immer demselben Belag ( Scheibe Käse Scheibe Kochs*****en trocken ohne Butter). Mit etwas Glück hat es die Bedienung geschafft den Kaffee nicht umzuschütten und alles ist trocken. Aber das eine Stück Obst nun schön warm. Oder aber es ist alles durchnässt und der Tag wie auch das Frühstück „versaut“. Keine Spur von einem Teller, einer normalen Tasse, normalem Besteck etc. Essen aus der Hotelküche ist den Preis leider nicht wert. Carpaccio schön angemacht und in der Mitte vollkommen gefroren, also frisch ist anders. Der Hamburger zum einen „mini“ und im trockenen Brötchen welches auseinander fällt beim Anschauen (13€) sind ein Witz, leider nicht lustig. Bach nunmehr mehreren Aufenthalten, gezwungenermaßen, da alles Andere geschlossen ist, werde ich sofort wechseln sobald Alternativen vorhanden sind. Hotel selber ist sauber neu und modern eingerichtet, aber dues wird zunichte gemacht durch die oben beschriebenen Umstände SCHADE!!!!!

Das Hostel hat eine tolle Lage. Genau neben ihm gibt es einen großen Park, wenn Sie mit dem Auto kommen und an der Seite hat es auch einen ATM. Metro und Busstation wirklich in der Nähe. Auf der Rückstraße gibt es viele lokale Pasta, Restaurants und kleine Geschäfte. Das ist freundlich und hilfreich. Das Bett ist komfortabel und es ist super handlich, dass Sie 2 Socken und ein ”nachtliches Licht” gerade über Ihren Kissen haben. Sie erhalten auch einen Schrank, der unter den Betten ist - das ist groß und groß, um Ihre Sachen zu lagern bis zum Punkt, wo Sie Zimmer kommen spät oder gehen sehr Früh und dann macht es einen wirklich lauten Lärm. Die Dusche waren nicht so sauber, aber ich habe gesehen schlimmer, zumindest Sie bekommen Seife-Dispenser, die tatsächlich Seife in ihnen und es gibt auch ein Haartrockner im Badezimmer. Die WiFi-Strom ist großartig und funktioniert gut überall im Hostel. Die Terrasse ist wirklich schön gestaltet und ein toller Ort, um in den Tagen zu socialisieren, dass es nicht extrem windig 😆

Super schönes,modernes Hostel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und absolut perfektem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sehr sauber und die Lage ist für den Preis definitiv empfehlenswert, viel kann fußläufig erreicht werden und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind auch direkt um die Ecke.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. Finally, I decided not to proceed with the proposal because I found it disrespectful, an excessive charge compared to the original offer, and unprofessional. Therefore, I feel that I was cheated out of the 97 euros that I paid and that I could not use the offered service.

Wir waren durch Zufall am Sonntag hier und entschieden uns ganz spontan für den Bruch. Für 40.-€ inclusive Wasser, Kaffee und Weine erschien uns das Angebot verlockend. Von der Terrasse aus hat man eine großartige Aussicht auf den Tejo und den Torre de Belem. Das Buffet war klein, aber total fein. So gab es z.B. herrlich frische Austern und 3 verschiedene geräucherte Lachssorten. Alle Gerichte waren von aller erster Güte und vor allem ganz toll dekoriert. Wir konnten uns kaum entscheiden. Besonders raffiniert schmeckte ein Kartoffel Gratin mit Dorsch. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. ein absoluter Volltreffer mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistung Verhältnis.

First day here and the place looks absolutely amazing. Really high class feel to the place. Tatiana the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, polite and funny. Whilst we waited for our room to be ready as we arrived hours early. We had lunch at the Italian restarting and erika and Amanda were so nice to us, great sense of humour, friendly and just a positive energy. Vinicius also brought nice energy to us even though he didn't serve us as much. It was clear to see who the managers were from their demeanour and body language and they do not bring the same warm and welcoming energy as the staff. No hellos or customer service but no need to deal with them so doesn't bother me as much, they could just not be around, that would be better for the vibe here. Overall really happy so far and the amenities are incredible, the views, the pool and the beach. Will leave another review towards the end of my stay to see if this continues.

I visited Portugal on a group tour that included stays at three pousadas. A big takeaway from my experience is that pousadas are remarkably variable. Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes, was fantastic, while Conimbriga Hotel Do Paço was abysmal. This one, Pousada Castelo Palmela, was somewhere in-between. I recommend you choose your pousada carefully. The positives of Pousada Castelo Palmela are many and significant. It’s a magnificent building with fantastic views. I recommend you save some time to explore the fortress the hotel is part of, and, when weather permits, you go to the west side of the pousada’s grounds to enjoy a lovely sunset. However, the staff of this pousada could improve. I got the impression that the place was understaffed, and not all staff were fully trained. Dining was disappointing; the pousada’s restaurant has limited capacity and books up quickly, and there are few if any local restaurants to use as an alternative. To solve this, you could book half board, or reserve your dinner table well in advance. However, I don’t recommend that because, as well as being small relative to the number of guest rooms, the restaurant isn’t very good. My dinners here were frankly awful – uninspired and badly served, often cold. I recommend you go grocery shopping and bring food with you when you return to the hotel, or use Uber Eats to have your dinner delivered (as I did).
