Best hotel beds I've ever slept on. Rooms a very high standard, very clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing, very professional and polite, nothing was too much trouble and all very welcoming and very friendly. Very highly recommended to anyone. Thanks all.

Great value hotel with easy access from major route. Reception staff friendly & helpful, close to main town and local pubs & restaurants. Car park is a multi storey parking area but good value for 24 hours and a lift to the hotel. Secure hotel as access to corridors requires key card

This Premier Inn has some of the best staff of all the Premier Inns I have stayed at. It is a good central location near some fab micro breweries, botabky the Tin Oyle! I am a visually impaired traveller, so sometimes beed a but if extra support from staff, which is always provided by the fantastic team. I have to give an extra special mention to James, who went over and above to make sure my stay was a positive experience. He was very professional and personable, a real asset to Premier Inn. My room was comfortable and clean with everything i needed, the free Wi-Fi was fine and allowed me to attend a meeting with no buffering or problems at all. Breakfast was served hot and was served without having to wait long. There was a good selection of food, both hot and cold to choose from. A big thank you to James on reception and the wider ream, keep up the good work 🥇👏👏👏

We stayed at Premier Inn, ready for our daughters Karate competition in Sheffield. We stayed two nights, giving us a well deserved break on Saturday. This hotel is superbly places for town, in less than 10 minutes walk we were in the centre of Barnsley and enjoyed a day around the shops. It was only half an hour to Sheffield arena, making it the ideal place to stay. The staff in the hotel were friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much hassle. We unfortunately didn't have a good experience in the adjoining restaurant, but Jessica was on hand to listen to our issues and helped us resolve the problem. She also asked if we needed help finding some where to eat, we chose to go across the road. We loved the room, with it being every thing we expect it to be comfortable, quiet and relaxed.

The hotel couldn't be better placed being right in the middle of town. Check in was smooth and staff on front desk very helpful. The beds were comfy and the rooms what you come to expect from premier inn. There is a shop 2 mins walk away and 3 pubs as well as a restaurant on site.

Stayed at this hotel midweek for work. The parking isn't the best: I parked underneath the hotel in the multistorey car park and the lift had a really bad smell. I was told by reception the car park has nothing to do with the hotel. Check in was fine I used the self check in machine as I was told they are encouraging guests to self check in. The rooms are ready for an upgrade but they are very clean. Which cleanliness is more important than fancy pictures on the walls. Every time I saw the staff they were very nice and chatty people. I had breakfast next door and it's table service not a buffet style breakfast. I had the full English breakfast and what makes breakfast to me is properly fried eggs. Unfortunately I didn't get that on this occasion. Other than the look of the eggs it was a nice breakfast. I would stay again as it's convenient for me and the staff are friendly and the rooms are quiet.

good hotel great improvement on previous visit, new bathroom showers are a real compliment, the restaurant was dreadful except for Sunday breakfast, beware of the car park not all the machines were working when trying to pay for the parking.

Stayed here for 1 night. Was checked in by Julie who couldn’t have been more helpful. Had a double room. No frills but perfect for me. Plenty of staff on call at breakfast who were also very helpful If in the area again I would definitely stay here
