Hendre Coed Isaf

Great stay in a lovely location overlooking the sea. The pool was a hit with the kids and short walk to the beach and train station was also great.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend we stayed in C13 Lodge lovely and clean the beds are very comfortable the Hot Tub was lovely and warm. All staff were very friendly and very helpful.The heated outdoor pool was lovely and warm. Every where was immaculate and We will definitely be booking again. Thank you

On our arrival there was a slight hiccup with the caravans but the problem was professionally and quickly sorted. Stayed a few nights had lovely food at the restaurant, compliments to the chef, our caravan was clean and tidy and in a lovely location, ( and my sister would like to thank staff for finding her lost ring) will visit again.

Beautiful holiday park. Hot tub was the highlight of our stay. The views are amazing, specially sunset one. Provided everything needed for a family of 4 including toiletries & extra toilet paper rolls. Peaceful setting, the pool was small but very clean. Can’t wait to come back again.

When did it become so difficult just to say sorry? I was given the details of one caravan, number and key code…on arrival imagine the embarrassment of trying to get into the caravan and somebody else was there….the nice lady in reception (daughter) rectified the situation promptly and advised me to see the ‘management’ i.e mother on Monday. On trying to see ‘mother’ did I get the apology? No…just blaming the ‘system’ and overtired staff…. A simple apology…. I suppose I should just blame myself for booking an over priced caravan.

As pleasant as the caravan site itself was, I am obliged to leave this review due to the encounter I had with a staff member here. I stayed at Hendre recently with my partner and our three children. My youngest is 11 months old so we required a travel cot. We paid £12 for the hire which we had absolutely no problem with but unfortunately the cot wouldn’t fit in any of the rooms. Naturally, we did not want to leave him alone in the lounge area, so early the second day, I took the cot back to reception to ask for a reimbursement of the £12 (we decided the best option was to sleep our 11 month old in the double bed with one of us instead). Upon entering the reception area, one of the receptionists was on the phone. Another lady appeared who greeted me with ‘is that one of ours?’ referring to the travel cot in my hand. No ‘good morning, can I help?’ just an impolite greeting from the outset. Upon asking the question about the refund, the receptionist looked at me as if I had accused her of murder. ‘You have rented the cot so why should we give you a refund?’ was the terse response. Clearly we couldn’t fit the cot in any of the rooms, so as this was not possible why would we pay for something we were not going to use? I even took it back the very next morning - it was not as if I had waited until well into our break and then tried to sneakily claim back the deposit. ‘Have you never stayed in a caravan before, you could have just flipped the bed?’ was another line from this utterly rude staff member. Well actually, believe it or not no neither of us had taken our family on a static caravan holiday before so this was our first experience. How was I supposed to consider flipping the bed? Not a typical thing you do if a cot doesn’t fit in a bedroom! Had the staff actually advised us on this beforehand instead of just simply presuming we would know to place one bed on another then perhaps this awkward situation would have been avoided. If the said individual spent a day in my workplace, I wouldn’t blindly assume she immediately knew all the ins and outs of my job role. Similarly, how on earth was I supposed to draw the conclusion that I should manoeuvre one single bed on top of the other?! Besides, when I looked at this possibility later on in the day out of interest, there was absolutely no way the cot would have fit into the gap left in the room even if I had managed to balance one single bed on top of the other. Another line - ‘well if you rent a car you wouldn’t ask for a refund would you?’ In all honestly if the car had an issue and was not fit for purpose then yes I would. If I rented a car and it had a problem with the gearbox, I’d be well within my rights to ask for a refund. After I left the building, I went back in about thirty seconds later to ask for a receipt. Again, another disgusting look and a response ‘well I’ve just asked these two ladies what they think about it’ referring to two members of the public that were now at the desk. Nice

Loved every minute.stayed with my two young sons and my dad and everyone really enjoyed it, especially the swimming pool which was kept at a really high standard really clean and perfect temperature.All the staff were really helpful and pleasant the caravan very clean and comfortable and the bar/Resturant was really good quality food with brilliant service.The views were stunning whether from inside the caravan or sat by the pool it was really beautiful and the general atmosphere on the park was really relaxing.Barely ever leave reviews unless somewhere really leaves a lasting impression on me. Can't wait to return.

We have just gotten back a few days ago from a break at one of the pet friendly caravan! D21) and wow what a caravan in fact what a beautiful holiday park, the whole park is beautifully presented, All well maintained & doesn’t feel as though your just in a caravan park more of a resort abroad! There is a doggie walk area which is lovely and our doggie loved the area and smells, lovely and shaded too! The children’s pirate ship park is beautiful and very safe my child loved playing here and lots of seating for parents as well! The pool is undergoing works so sadly we didn’t have access to this but we where notified of this previous, We were offered to change booking to which we didn’t but gives us a great excuse to return in the future! The staff were so polite and helpful! The caravan with own patio area with gate was a dream come true allowing our family dog to be relaxed and for us to allow him to enjoy the freedom and the patio. We had a parking space right outside also which was so helpful! The caravan has a beautiful layout and modern feel to it, A very well sized bathroom with toilet and full size shower! Great size bedrooms double & two single beds with enough wardrobe space to unpack and feel like a second home for our stay! The smart tv was a nice touch and allowed us to enjoy movies from our own accounts at late nights such as (Netflix). The caravan was clean to a 10/10 with a fridge freezer and a bottle of wine to greet us in the fridge along with a very informative welcome pack! To stay at a pet friendly caravan in Barmouth and it to be at such a high standard was wonderful, Not having to feel like just for bringing our family pet your accommodation can some times differ from other adds that we had seen prior to finding Hendre Coed Isaf Holiday Park. We will be back in the future and we had a splendid holiday! Barmouth is an amazing place but our holiday wouldn’t of been what it was with out This amazing holiday park, We didn’t feel a rush to leave the park to start our holiday that started the minute we stepped in the van! Another fantastic stay. This time in the cottage. Can’t fault this place. Plenty of room and the hot tub a nice treat even in January . Weather was fantastic too. Will be back again in January as we have bought a touring caravan and if they did hook up here we’d book. Keep it up guys
