Disappointing...,did not meet expectations based on photos or previous reviews however there were positives and negatives. Good size room,comfy bed decent a/c and good location. Bathroom quite shabby and in need of painting .Room cleaning was very basic ,loo roll was thinnest I've ever seen and one a day only was replaced. Requested extra hangers and were told it's not possible.Staff were 'pleasant'but not very engaging.All in all not a bad spot but not,in my opinion,worthy of the high scoring reviews on Tripadvisor.

A relaxed and beautifully designed apartment spacious and clean . Staff were more than helpful and extremely friendly. After a busy day sightseeing it was the perfect place to relax. Very centrally located .

When we arrived and I hadn’t checked in the lady at reception was so helpful and helped with the process and was so helpful when we were trying to get in to the property. She then checked us in and gave us a recommendation guide for places to go in Barcelona which was so helpful. The room was clean, huge, and so nice! the hotel was the perfect location for exploring Barcelona. Lovely staff, perfect location, gorgeous rooms. And we were able to leave our bags at the reception on our check out day as we had a later flight. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to friends.

Warm welcome by the reception. Spacious room. In and out of lobby gate and room was the most convinient. They give you the code and you can also open it from your mobile. No mini fridge, but it didn't really matter to me. Also, there is not much power outlets in room... it would be not enough for some travellers. I had to remove lamp cable in order to charge my mobile next to bed.

The location is perfect! Just in the center, close to metro. Very clean rooms, modern furniture also in the lobby. The beds are very comfortable. AC is super during the summer. Super kindly staff! Highly recommend the place.

We selected this hotel through ******* based on location, ratings and reviews. We typically stay in a location that is central to permit walking/exploring and near to one of the mass transit stops. Uma Suites checked all of the boxes and were not disappointed with what we experienced. A metro station is around the corner as were several bus stops. The hotel is near the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla and 25 minutes from the beaches. The room was comfortable and well maintained, we even had a Juliet balcony and large French doors to open to the outside. The only reccomendation would be to provide an iron and ironing board for each room. They did provide an iron, but we had to use a table or bench for an ironing board. Note when you check in, make sure you contact them via email ahead of time to get the door access code. We had to wait for someone leaving the building to let us in. The front desk is up on the first floor and the staff cannot see the door to let people in. Once we checked in and had the code, we had no problems.

Fabulous renovated apartment building in the heart of Barcelona. Restaurants and bars literally at your door. Uma is not a hotel. That being said there is a front desk who provided all the essential information and assistance, when needed. Would highly recommend this very affordable accommodation.

We found Uma to be perfect for our visit. Centrally located, clean, and so very comfortable!
