Beste Hotels mit Bar in Siquijor

I don’t know anyone that couldn’t love this place! This was our last accommodation on our Philippines backpacking trip – a little treat to finish. We were recommended to visit Siquijor by a local we had met in Puerto Princesa, so we thought, why not! Not only did this become my favourite island, but I believe a huge part of this is because of Infinity Heights. We were super lucky to visit during a quiet period (start of the rainy season), but we’ve created memories here we will never forget. Firstly, we were beautifully greeted by the front of house staff, whom, I promise, will already make your stay so perfect as they made sure our guest experience was the highest it can be. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. If you love dogs, there are a couple of onsite adorable dogs who are very well behaved and respect your space, but also love a cuddle! The room (we stayed in room 10), was outstanding. It was clean, lovely, modern but simple décor, a big balcony with views that honestly took my breath away. For me, it felt like a place I could easily call my home. Speaking of home, the owners live onsite and came over to chat with us. Gary and Christy are the sweetest people, it’s very clear they take a lot of pride in their home and their business. As owners, I feel they tick every box. We’ve felt so cared about and wanted here, and we’ve not come spending money. It’s just been about getting to know each other. They’ve put a lot of hard work into the resort, and you can see through their staff how happy and attentive everyone is who works here. They gave us local insight knowledge and even treated us to a night of music! Christy performed some well-known songs, whilst Gary, my partner and two other guests assisted in the mini band – it’s a night that can’t be explained, as it was an unexpected taste of paradise. We felt 100% happy, content and relaxed, it’s an evening we will always cherish. We stayed after the music finished and continued chatting to Christy and Gary about everyday things and cultural differences. We wanted them to know how good their staff was as well, and they just seemed so heart warmingly proud of the business they have created. The last thing to mention is the views and the pool. JUST WOW. I wish we had more time here (or just lived here). We spent a whole evening in the pool watching the sun set over views that you can’t beat. It was emotionally beautiful, and we both miss this place so much!

The hotel is located in a peaceful isolated place near the nice beach where you can get only if you stay in one of two hotel there or if you buy a ticket. The road goes through the woods so it is very quiet. You can grab a kayak at the hotel and explore the nearby empty beaches or do some snorkeling just in front of the hotel. The beach is located 3 min away, and there is a small rock with some places for jumping into the water, but the local officer said it is forbidden to swim and jump there. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it is quite pricey, the nearest place to eat is only bike or tricycle reachable. The luxe room is awesome, a lot of space and light, truly loved the big windows. Definitely recommend if you love quiet places and can drive a bike or a car.

Waren 4 Nächte im CGBR. Ursprünglich nur 3 geplant, gute Entscheidung, eine Nacht mehr zu bleiben. Eine wirklich fantastische Location, die mit ganz vielen Top Beach-Resorts in Asien & Africa mithalten kann. Bereits die Betreuung (Glorie) unserer direkten Buchung und die Beratung/Organisation der Transfers war excellent. Lage: die grosse zum Meer hin leicht abschüssige und dadurch noch reizvollere Anlage mit wirklich sensationellem und erstklassig gepflegten Tropen-Garten grenzt direkt an das Tubod marine sanctuary (herrlich zum Schnorcheln). Hier kommen ein paar Dutzend externe Gäste, die im westlichen Bereich des Resorts auch am Strand liegen ”dürfen”, nach ca. 50 m aber nur noch Spazieren und Baden. Der Resortbeach ist also fast immer so gut wie unberührt, unter den Palmen im Resort und am Pool gibt es genug Liegen im Schatten sowie Sitzgelegenheiten. 2 Pools + Spa-Pool. Poolbar (trocken & swim in), neue Beachbar, Beach-Restaurant Salamandas. Excellentes, wunderschön balinesisch gestyltes Spa. Ausflüge: es bietet sich eine Tagestour mit dem Tricyle an, Dauer ca. 5-6 Stunden, es lohnt sich, um ein Gefühl für sie Insel zu bekommen. Auch Ausflüge nach Apo Island, wenn das kleine Schwesterhotel auf Apo fertig renoviert ist, ist das für 1 Nacht die beste Option. Sind eine Nacht früher als geplant von Apo Island angereist, hatten den Sunset Vista Room (44) über dem Tauchzentrum, daher etwas noisy. Riesiges Zimmer (für 4 Personen ausgelegt), herrlicher Blick aufs Meer. Waren dann die kommenden 3 Nächte in der gebuchten Ocean Villa II (No.70). Grosses Zimmer im filippino-Style, grosses Bad, alles vorhanden, Sitzgelegenheiten, Tisch auf der Terrasse. Herrlicher Palmenwald und direkter Zugang zum Meer, Boracay-Feeling, nur eben (fast) für uns. Cherry on the top wäre ein kleines Becken mit Wasser vor der Terrasse für die sandigen Füsse. Es gibt noch die neuen ”Sanctuary Villen” direkt am Beach (östlich von der neuen Beachbar), sehr schön, am ruhigsten Strandabschnitt, aber noch nicht so gewachsen-grün wie im ”älteren” Teil. Darüber hinaus eine grosse Auswahl an Zimmern, Bungalows, Villen unterschiedlichster Grösse und Lage, alles immer schön dekoriert und im Grünen ! Für Gäste, die nicht im Hotel essen möchten (wir verteilen unsere Umsätze und essen immer auswärts), gibt es ca. 80 m nach Ausgang rechts das ”Fuego Cantina” und ca. 400 links Richtung San Juan das ”Carenderia de Seanlhyan”, beide sehr empfehlenswert. Darüber hinaus kann man mit dem Tricycle ein paar Minuten nach San Juan fahren. Die Beachbar im Resort hat wie auch die Minibar absolut faire Preise (90 PHP SML, 85 PHP RH & PALE), daher sollte man den Sundowner unbedingt hier nehmen, fantastische Stimmung und angenehme Musik, die Minibar hat die gleichen Preise, wird aufgefüllt, somit ist auch der Abwinker auf der Terrasse gesichert :-) Wir waren nur zum sehr guten filippino-typischen á la carte Frühstück im Hotel (im Salamandas Hauptresto oder in der Beachbar, beides herrlich). Der Service

Wir blieben hier zwei Wochen lang und wollten wirklich nicht gehen. Luki und Charlie waren außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Das neue Gebäude wurde nur 3 Monate vorbei fertiggestellt und es ist erstaunlich. Schwimmbad mit geräumigen und angenehmen Zimmern. Der Pool, der auf ihrem Standort abgebildet wurde, war gerade renoviert und hat ein Jacuzzi am Ende. Charlie legte die Blasen auf jeder Zeit, als wir in sie liefen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren so hilfsbereit und konnten nicht genug für uns tun. Auch meine Sandalen für eine Reparatur nehmen. Luki bestellte Transport für uns zu wettbewerbsfähigen Preisen und zeigte uns die besten Massage Orte zu gehen. Luki und Charlie eingeladen uns zu Lukis Geburtstagsparty, es war schön und toll. So freundlich von ihnen. Das Frühstück zu einem zusätzlichen Preis war gut und reichhaltig. Der neue Koch machte leckere Mahlzeiten meist traditionelle Philippinen - wir essen viel Zeit während unseres Aufenthalts. Bitte geben Sie diesem Ort eine Chance, es war ein Arbeitsvoranschlag und jetzt ist das Ende in Sicht. Ich hatte hier die beste Zeit.

Wunderschönes Resort mit absolutem Wohlfühlfaktor und perfekt zum Energie tanken 🧡 Wir (kleine Gruppe von vier Personen) hatten das Reort für einen kurzen Inselstopp gebucht und waren absolut begeistert von dem einzigartigen Flair und dem so engagierten Gastgeber-Team rund um Marcel, die den Aufenthalt zu einem wirklich besonderen Stopp gemacht haben! Danke für die schöne Zeit bei euch, wir kommen hoffentlich mal wieder :)

We want to thank the owner Gri and staff at this lovely hotel! The warmth and welcome we felt was phenomenal, as well as the service. The highlight of the stay was the gorgeous pool and view. We loved beginning and ending each day with a dip and hearing the waves crash as we fell asleep. Magical! The flowers and trees on the property are stunning and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are firm by western standards but being that we are Americans who live in China, we love this for our backs! We ate breakfast every morning and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it is very high quality, tasty food. I especially loved the organic spinach and homemade dumplings, as well as the mapo tofu- YUM! The fresh fruit each day was crisp and delicious and I LOVED drinking coconuts by the pool. Thank you, Cherry! Coffee is for purchase at the restaurant, not in the rooms. The location of the hotel is quite remote, meaning it is peaceful and quiet. I recommend you arrange transportation for excursions in advance each day, or rent a scooter, as waiting for a tricycle can be long. We were told that you can swim and snorkel in front of the hotel but the tide was too low when we tried one day. However, there are snorkels and kayaks for use in the hotel! The hotel is still developing some of the water activities available. The pool is deep enough for diving courses, but check to make sure they are ready, as the gear is still in order as of Oct 2023. There are snorkel and dive spots a short ride away, however, and you can ask for help at the desk to book a tour or connect with a dive shop.

Abgesehen davon, dass das WLAN wirklich schlecht ist, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung.

Wir blieben nicht im Resort, wir blieben neben der Tür in der Kirra Beach-Wohnung, aber im Laufe einer Woche haben wir Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen in Infinity gegessen. Jedes Essen war nicht enttäuscht! Der Service war immer freundlich und schnell, die Mahlzeiten waren lecker und die tägliche glückliche Stunde von 4pm-8pm war die beste! Wir können die 100 gefrorene Margaritas 🍹 Sie werden nicht enttäuscht!!
