Das Hotel liegt schön am Ende der Promenade, es gibt mehrere Pools und viele Möglichkeiten ins Meer zu kommen. Es gibt wirklich ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirme (ohne Aufpreis), selten wird auch schon morgens per Handtuch reserviert. Die Handtücher kosten 10€ Kaution, es gibt 2 Restaurants im Außenbereich und der Service ist auch unterwegs und man kann direkt am Platz bestellen. Das Hotel ist schön in die Landschaft eingebaut, allerdings darf man viele Treppen im Laufe einer Woche besteigen ;-) Das Zimmer war groß genug mit Klima, Kühlschrank, Balkon uns Safe. Mit dem Wifi gab es immer wieder Probleme, allerdings hatte ich eine örtliche SIM, war mir also egal. Das Essen hat immer geschmeckt, ob Frühstück, Restaurant oder Abendessen (Halbpension). Gefühlt arbeiten im Service nur Kinder, eine Ausbildung gab es da noch keine, dementsprechend darf man mehrmals nachfragen bevor einem Getränke geliefert werden… das kann beim Abendessen nerven.

Sehr schöne Location, leckeres Essen. Das Zimmer ist etwas alt und unser Bett war nur aus zwei kleinen zusammengeschobenen Betten.

Bar is a popular resort on the coast of Montenegro - approximately one hour drive from the capital Podgorica. To make the most out of your holiday/vacation I would strongly advise hiring a car to tour this wonderful Balkan country. However, note that their road rules are in some cases different to the rest of western Europe. Most tourist type hotels are located outside of Bar centre or in Sutomore, which is a few KM up the coast. Their are regular buses linking the two. The agape hotel is located on a main road - but do not worry - we experienced no sound noise from the road whatsoever. Parking is available free behind the hotel in public spaces. The hotel is also set up for small conferences. The reception is on the ground floor, where their is a lobby area (that no one seemed to use). The receptionist was wonderfully friendly, helpful and professional. We were allocated a twin bedded room on the first floor close to the restaurant/breakfast room, and the spa area. Again we heard no noise at all from these public areas. Our room was extremely comfortable with twin beds, large flat screen tv (including english speaking channels), fridge, wardrobe, and tea/coffee making facilities. The shower room was extremely large and included toiletries. My only small grumble was that the shower riser rail for the shower head was not long enough, so i did have to bend slightly to wash my hair. I am over 183cm (6'). Breakfast was standard continental fayre with hams, cheese etc, plus the hot eggs, bacon etc. Tea/coffee/juices etc. If you wanted your eggs a certain way then this would be done without problem. The waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast, evening meals, and bar service is all located on the 1st floor in the same area. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the main shopping/bar/restaurant street. Their are some excellent 'coffee and cake' cafes ! YUM... Their is also a pharmacy only a few minutes walk away. we only stayed a couple of nights, and wish we had longer.

Ein gutes Lage. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, es gibt eine Küche mit Kühlschrank, Tisch und Stühle. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und ziemlich groß. Es gibt ein komfortables Bett, sauber und schön. Die Handtücher sind jedoch zu klein, die Landfrau spricht nicht Englisch und sie servieren nicht Frühstück.
