Son Bunyola

This is a truly 5 star hotel yet there is a very relaxed feeling. Staff are super helpful. There are fantastic hikes that you can take from the property in many directions. The tapas restaurant was fantastic… the best we have ever tasted. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I travel six months of the year to different part of the world, always staying at 5 star hotels. We loved this resort. We only hope next time we'll visit they will allowed to build the spa and gy.

Absolutely perfect stay! We often stay 5 star and this is our ideal kind of place. Views that are amazing. Food delicious and every meal outdoors on the multiple terraces. Grounds immaculate (yes it's still growing out a little but gorgeous). A pool that was incredible and well used by the adults for laps or lazy hanging out. A vineyard to be enjoyed in 2025 or 2026. Short drives to explore old villages (and they will drive you for dinner or drinks too!). A few tasteful for couples, but active activities like hiking or strength training - or wine tasting and bee visit. But it is the staff that pulls it altogether into a package that makes you feel truly special. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and a birthday and they added all the extra touches for that too. We would eagerly return and the highlight of our stay on Mallorca.

Beautifully renovated property. Large pool is fantastic. Surrounding terraces and garden planting is immature, so the hard architecture is a little stark, but it will mature beautifully no doubt. Staff are very friendly and obliging, although there were a few teething problems

It is a wonderful hotel where everything you could possibly want is there for you and, quite exceptionally, the food is extremely good. The only comment I would make is that the lighting in the main restaurant is nowhere near good enough and certainly does not create a great atmosphere.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at Sun Bunyola. The property is just exceptional, and the rooms are beautifully appointed, nicely sized. and in perfect condition. The vibe here is wonderful- elegant and refined, but not stuffy. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional-- housekeeping was efficient and paid attention to detail, and both the food and the service at La Terassa was terrific. While we did enjoy several meals off the property, we found the food at La Terrassa to be better than most meals out, with a lot of variety on the menu. The pool was beautiful, with incredible views! We are very happy we chose this hotel after seeing several other properties during our stay in Mallorca, and I'd absolutely choose to stay here again over any other hotel on the island. No place is perfect, so in terms of constructive criticism (which I would stress is relatively minor in the scheme of things), I would offer a few observations. First, the gym is tiny to almost non-existent-- we fully understand and appreciate that approvals for building were very difficult to get given the historic nature of this property, but it seems like alternatives for a gym of some size should be explored. Additionally, we had to do a lot more legwork to make plans for daily excursions and dinners than we've had to do elsewhere. There is not a dedicated concierge, and while the front desk was helpful, advice was more reactive than proactive, and we found we had to follow up over email multiple times to stay on top of pending reservations and questions.

The property is itself beautiful, but the highlight of our stay was the staff. I’d like to thank David, Javir, Ancieta, John, Raul, and the whole staff for making our experience so wonderful. The staff is truly what sets this property apart. Thank you for everything!
