MPM Hotel Sport Ski-in, Ski-Out

Restaurantta kendinizi lüks bir restaurantta yemek yiyormuşsunuz gibi hissediyorsunuz. I decided to write this review after the check-out, when being asked whether everything was good and responding that the hotel was a bit of a dissapointment, the staff replied:”It’s normal, you’re European.” This left me with a bitter taste and understood that the hotel does not intend to improve. Let me start with the few good things about the allegedly 5* hotel: - it is truly a ski in, ski out hotel; - the room was big and the bed mattress comfortable - Lezzet restaurant serves good food for a good price - it has all the amenities of a 5* hotel: spa, indoor pool, kids area, ski storage etc, but they are poorly managed and questionable Now come the things that are surely unacceptable for 5*: - breakfast area: there area no drinks available for self service. Everytime you need to drink anything (water included), you have to ask the staff and wait for the drinks. Sometimes for a long time. - breakfast area: tha staff is clearly frustrated by the drinks problem and overwhelmed. This causes the tables to be constantly unarranged and the place to look hactic. - the room: very big and uncomfortable pillows, the balcony door did not close tightly and we had to stack duvets to keep the cold from entering the room. We told the staff. Somebody came to fix it but did not manage to fix it (-after the second request made by us) and we had to manage outselves as we could. - the bathroom: lookwd like from the 90’s. No shower but just a bathtub the sizethat would fit a ten-year old child. - we even found a cachroach on a wall. Dead for sometime. - playarea: poorly managed. The staff does not know whether the machines are working or not and they don’t care when alerted on this. - skiroom: you expect from a 5* hotel to have at least warmers for the skiboots or lockers. They just have a room with some racks. - the apres ski area si very nice in appearance but they have a barbeque there that makes a lot of smoke and you would leave there smelling like a steak All in all it could be a 5* if the management would know what to do and make some essential improvements.

Hotel facilities are great inc pool and spa and breakfast good. Good comfy beds and very helpful staff could with a bit more storage/hooks in the rooms for ski gear? Really close to slopes and genuine ski out and ski in if you return on the ski road rather than gondola which is a fun way of getting back down the mountain for all levels.

Came here for Christmas ftom UK and one day into our three night stay we are thinking of leaving it's horrendous and absolutely not worth the money. First of all we paid £200 a night half board so we arrive at reception and met with a piece of paper you must pre-order from the limited menu., three choices and a vegetarian option. Then breakfast and there's the usual buffet but stone cold. No water, coffee or cold drinks you need to ask for drinks okay so we deal with it. Come evening ( Christmas Day) we go to the lobby bar before dinner three times my husband went up to the empty bar with three staff members scowling at him and ignored him even when he said " excuse me can I order" I went up 40 minutes later same story so went to reception and asked what the code was to get served at the bar which was empty. Took 50 minutes in total to buy a drink, at a empty bar. Then we went to Christmas Dinner and this is what we got picture says it all. First we are served Salad and soup together and the soup was cold, tasty but cold. Then they tried to overcharge us saying we had 4 glasses of wine when we only had two glasses. The meal had no veg or gravy just poor. This place ruined our Christmas and I wouldn't bother if I was you. Go elsewhere were you're custom is appreciated. This is overpriced rubbish. They play videos in the lobby of their MPM collection of hotels the service and food are either a total lie on their promotional video or standards have fallen below zero but whatever it is, definitely not worth the money. We stayed at another hotel recently in Bansko with a lower rating it was far superior. I stay at a lot of hotels and I'd give MPM sport no more than three stars, very poor. Disappointed doesn't even cut it !

We stayed here for a week and safe to say the recent refurbishments are excellent. Rooms are exactly like the photos, plenty of space, cosy, warm, and had everything you needed and more. All staff were friendly and accommodating. The lobby bar area is a great place to relax for a drink. We stayed half board breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options. Dinner was pre ordered at breakfast from an a al carte menu. Up to five courses available if you wish and plenty of mains to pick from. We’d highly recommend the soup and the salads there were delicious. The hotel is situated ideal for walking to the gondola and views of the slopes and mountains. Not having to get a shuttle bus there and back was great. A short 15min walk to the old down is a must visit when you stay there as well. Shops, restaurants etc are all within walking distance of the hotel which is an added bonus. This was the first time we’ve stayed here we will be back and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Just wanted to say… We have just got home to the Uk following a truly magical stay at your hotel & the service was exceptional! Truly a 5 star experience. Welcome and staff brilliant. Attention to détail excellent. Food - very good. Spa & massage.. world class. My family and I loved our stay.. I even received a surprise birthday cake delivered to my room. We are thinking of coming back next season. Extremely impressed!
