"593 Hotel Boutique Banos had a great location and Paul was very helpful and accommodating with services during our stay. However, I have been very frustrated at my efforts to receive a refund after cancelling one of our nights well in advance of hotel policy and never receiving a refund. I sent multiple emails and also spoke directly to the desk upon arrival and they still have not refunded me for the cancellation. Very disappointed in the lack of effort to handle this when I followed the protocol for a full refund. For this reason, I would not stay in their hotel again."

"We arrived at the hostel, and as soon as we got there, my wife was treated very poorly by the owner. He complained that we had not replied to his WhatsApp messages. He also told us that our reservation did not include a private bathroom, and that because we had arrived with a dog, we had to pay an additional $15 for the reservation. The owner was also rude about our dog, saying that she was a big dog and must weigh a lot. Our dog is a well-trained Labrador. He also told us that he would not provide parking because the parking area was public, meaning that we would have to leave our car on the street. In Ecuador, it is not recommended to leave cars parked on the street because of crime, especially since the area around the hostel did not seem very safe. To make our experience even worse, the owner forced us to cancel the reservation, even though we are a family traveling without a small child. Unfortunately, we had this unpleasant experience, but we managed to turn things around by going to Baños. For just a few dollars more, we had a wonderful time there!"

"Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wo man besser in Baños bleiben kann! La posada ist in einer tollen Lage in der Stadt, sehr wandelbar, aber immer noch ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber, sie haben ein erstaunliches Frühstück für Gäste, zuverlässige WLAN, schöne Kunst, eine erstaunliche Aussicht auf den Wasserfall, und das Beste von allem - AMERIKANISCHES STAFF. Unser erstes Tages dort, ein Eigentümer hat uns persönlich eine Tagesreise nach Puyo reserviert und als es schreckliche Verkehrsmittel gab, koordinierten sie mit unserem Fahrer zurück nach Quito, um ein Taxi zu haben, um uns zu treffen. Sie werden gut auf La posada zu achten!"

"Ein wunderschönes Resort, dass wir leider nur zum MIttagessen im Rahmen einer Gruppenreise besuchen konnten. Tolle Unterkunft mit einer großartigen Gartenanlage, die wir bei einem evtl. nächsten Besuch bestimmt buchen würden. Der flambierte Grillteller, die frischen Säfte und die Früchte zum Dessert waren ausgezeichnet und quantitativ sehr beeindruckend."
