Das Hotel Goldfinch hat eines der besten Restaurants in denen ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Restaurant und die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber und bieten eine angenehme Atmosphäre und das Essen sucht seinesgleichen. Wir waren gleich zwei Abende in Folge dort weil es so gut war.

Ausgezeichnete Lage in der Mitte der Stadt, das Personal bei der Eincheckung und das Frühstück ist sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind sauber und sauber. Fernseher funktionierte nicht mehr als 15 Stunden und sie mussten eine Box ändern. Bucht für das Kricket-Spiel zu sehen, aber nicht passiert. Frühstücksverteilung ist gut. Geschmack ist auch gut. Leicht zu bekommen Transport, Taxi von Hotel zu jedem Ort. Sicherheit ist gut und freundlich. Check-in und Check-out war reibungslos. Toilette ist sauber. Die Gäste aus anderen Zimmern waren scharf und erwachten mich um 8 Uhr wegen lauten Lärm. Ich konnte sie nicht stoppen, da sie Gast sind, aber das Hotel sollte die Sicherheit überwachen und ihnen sagen, nicht so viel Lärm zu machen.
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The hotel is situated at the center of bangalore on racecourse road very near to railway station and business hub chickpet area. The hotel is neat and clean, and easy to approach. It takes 30-40 minutes to the airport from hotel.

Could improve on the customer experience if someone takes cancellations and refunds seriously. I booked this place for 6 days and had to cancel this on the first day of arrival. (Reason being: it is too far from my office and bangalore traffic is extremely unpredictable). First of all, for cancellations I've to reach out to some central reservation person who picked the call after 6-7 attempts only to tell me that even 50% is not refundable even though I was ready to lose half the amount. And nobody at the branch tends to these requests. I'm paying 8K only to hear a computerised voice address my issues? Wow. Besides, there's not even a bucket and mug in the dorm rooms. I mean who will carry these things?! I requested the staff more than twice to keep toilet paper in the washrooms but nobody has tended to it so far. Worst goStops experience.
My band and I visited Bangalore for an overnight stay, and were booked into this hotel. The purpose of our visit to Bangalore was to play at a wedding, and we were scheduled to fly out the next morning, leaving the hotel at 6.00am (this detail might be pertinent later). When we reached the hotel, we were informed that the room keys were not ready yet, that they would have someone open our rooms for us, and that they would get us key cards ASAP. That was around noon. We didn't receive key cards for 3 out of 4 rooms for the rest of our stay. We called to order room service, and asked for items off the 'All Day Menu'. We asked for a Chicken Kathi Roll, told it was unavailable. Instead, we asked for a chicken burger, told it was unavailable. Then asked for a chicken sandwich, told it was available, but could not get it toasted or grilled. After asking about various other items, and finally placing our much amended order, we received our food (which was not bad overall, I have to admit). We called and asked them to send someone to our room to let part of the band back into their rooms, and to please also send someone to clear up the plates, and were told they would be up for both in a minute. 10mins later, we called again, same response. Another 5mins, same response, but then we went down to call them up personally, since clearly they weren't going to mobilise by themselves. The gentleman who came up assured us someone would come 'fast' to clear the plates, and that he would help let the other people into their rooms since the key cards weren't ready, but still assured us we would all receive key cards shortly. Incidentally, no one came to clear the plates till around 6.15pm. We left at 6.20pm for our performance, expecting to return just before midnight. Upon our return, we were told no key cards yet, but we would once again be let in by a member of the staff. Honestly, we were too tired to care about arguing that we needed independent ingress and egress, and just thanked him and went upstairs to get some rest before our departure in 6hrs. Once in our rooms, we discovered that somewhere in the hotel, there were speakers blaring loud music, so loud that all our rooms were filled with the music as though each room had its own mini-rave. The music was so loud that the vibrations from their speakers ensured that (even under a stack of pillows to muffle the sound) we could feel the music nonstop. The music did not stop, nor did it decrease its volume till well after 2.00am when, from sheer exhaustion, I finally fell asleep. In addition to all these bigger issues, there were lots of little issues, like the fact that they only place 2 small water bottles in each room, that the bathroom door doesn't lock properly, that the room doors don't close all the way through, that the doorbells on the rooms didn't ring sometimes, and worked sometimes, and that the room was not really well-appointed (the beds had this awkward wooden plank between them, hin

Best one to stay if you are coming to Bangalore. Starting with the hospitality, you'll find a very generous gaurd who welcomes each guest as his family member. Moving into you'll get great assistance from the manager and the receptionist. I you have any problem related to the room it would be solved in a minute. The manager is very friendly with a helping nature. Cleanliness is the second thing I found the one of the best of all. The cleaning staff does their work exceptionally. The assistance from the room is just one call away. You call them for anything and they'll be at your door to serve you. Additionally, the food. We had breakfast included in our stay so everyday in the morning we would get such delicious breakfast with so much variety. With different juices to coffee, tea, milk whatever you want. From north Indian food to south indian, everything was available. And i would say that in the price given for all this, everything was worth. I had a great time staying here and would love to come back soon as it really felt like home.

GGastnutzerStayed for 3 days in June 2024 when I was visiting Bangalore with some friends. Pros: We chose the place because of the locational advantage - Very well connected with cabs+metro. Cons: The hotel staff without out permission entered our room apparently to make our bed and clean the room but neither cleaned the washroom nor replenished the water, toiletries or towels. All of our luggage was open and the staff dos not even ask once for our consent before doing that. Our friends had checked in with us in a different room and their room was neither opened nor cleaned which further raised flags about this arbitrary behaviour of coming into our room only. The worst is when we informed staff that some of our belongings are missing and we asked for an explanation, their reaction was extremely casual and no effort was made at all to trace the missing stuff or to even make a proper inquiry into why this lapse has happened. The complete lack of accountability and inaction despite raising such a serious matter with front desk is a matter of grave concern and I hope that Dunsvirk Inn and Olive both take this seriously.
