Texas weekend vacation Well to start off with, I contacted the owner of the property she was very polite. She was very punctual on returning either my calls or my text before we ever went out there we are from Houston. Really super great location. Just wish we would have more time to do more things out there go to the local wineries and go to the motorcycle museum didn't get to make that. But we did get to do the three sisters we did get the float the frio River. Frio River was a little low for this time of year it happens is Texas. Miss Betty was a great host. We will definitely be booking the cabin again within the years to come. The farmhouse had everything and we was looking for. Waterfront property like I said the water was a little low. But still great vibe of the place. I know we will book it at least once or twice more this year. And many more times as the years come and go. I really just can't get over the location to the twisted sisters and the frio River really super close and convenient. After bramble on and on just an awesome little farmhouse stuck back in the mesquite's allowing for total privacy.

Peaceful and Perfect The house is nice and accommodating and quant and was just what I was looking for to unwind for the weekend. Right next to the Twisted Sister for some good riding. Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect location We stayed here for 2 nights the location is good very close to The Lost Maples Nature Area. Lots of stars at night very quiet neighborhood I would stay here again if it wasn’t for dust and tree allergies

Great location, awesome communication! My friends and I stayed at the farm as our home base for hiking in lost maples. The owners were very responsive and friendly. River access and the fire pit were great features!

Not that great The trip was plan for my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was ok. Part of the house had a/c but wouldn’t cool down below 75. They had no curtains up at all inside the house except in one area, where we were sleeping. The river was none existent. There was a swimming hole , but we couldn’t go over because the neighbors had irons poles up with rope . On the other side the same neighbors had a metal gate up. This was not posted in description when booked the house . We didn’t realize this until we got to the house and read the rules .So don’t be fool. What made it bad was Saturday evening we ran out of water . We had no water inside the whole house, luckily we had bottle water. So we made the decision to leave the next day. We had bad cell reception so on the way home we contacted the owner, stating the issue we had and ask for one day refund . When she responded we did not get one apology what so ever. All we got from her was what we should have done and she wasn’t giving us any money back because we should have called her. After the fact we attempted to contact her multiple times , we got the same response . If you’re looking to get in the water go else where because this place does not have any . I hate to be this way and leave a bad review. We have rented plenty of places. Some of the places were decent . What I’m trying to say is we always try to look at the good things. But this one we couldn’t. I know she’s going to come back with something stating otherwise .Be aware
