Megstone House

Lovely room. Great space and a really comfy bed. Hosts very friendly and provided an excellent breakfast with fresh fruit which always gets my vote! The place is slightly out of the town centre but its a level walk on a footpath to get to places to eat in the evening.

From the phone call we made to book, it was clear that Donna and Paul were so very warm and friendly! They were excellent hosts, Donna was so helpful and kind,checking we were ok, Paul was as well and he excelled in his culinary skills at breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! Our room was perfectly spotless, well provisioned with tea, coffee etc and bathroom essentials. TV and WiFi were excellent, bed was really, really comfortable and it was good to have two comfy chairs also to relax in. There are three rooms, all slightly different,ours had a four poster bed! Paul and Donna were very helpful with their local knowledge of places to visit, eat and walk to. They really looked after us, and we would really recommend a stay with them.

Really enjoyed our stay, very attentive host, nothing was too much trouble, lovely room with view of the garden, short walk to the center with shops, restaurants & pubs - ideal place to tour around site seeing, walking along the beach, we had great weekend

We had a super 4 nights stay at Megstone House. Ideally located for a relaxing stay in a quiet part of Seahouses, but just a 15 minute walk into town. The couple that own and run the B&B are very friendly, kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was spotless clean as was the rest of the house and the breakfast was just amazing. We would highly recommend a stay at Megstone House and be assured you will be well looked after by Donna and Paul. A1 and 5 stars from us.

This was a wonderful b&b we stayed at in Seahouses. Paul & Donna were amazing hosts. Our four poster bedroom was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The tea tray was generously stocked and Donna offered us fresh milk every day. Breakfast was amazing with lovely cooked local produce and the fresh fruit was exceptional. Our stay was made extra special by Paul and Donna with Paul even taking us through to Banbrugh when the local bus didn’t turn up. It’s a place where you arrive as guests but leave as friends. We will definitely return.
