Ein Paradies. Das Personal war freundlich und wir konnten früh einchecken. Alles war sauber und wunderschön. Der Pool war etwas von Pflanzen überwuchert, was nach dem Regen verständlich war. Die Küche war komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirr, und im Schlafzimmer gab es einen Fernseher. Das Badezimmer im Freien war einfach atemberaubend.

Wir mieteten gleich zu Beginn unserer Reise eine Villa mit Gartenblick für eine Woche. Die Villa war alles andere als neu, und wir zahlten deutlich zu viel. Etwas später, als ich nach einer zweiten Unterkunft suchte, bot mir die Villa Coco ein 25 % günstigeres Angebot an, was ein angemessener Preis war. Ich buchte die Villa in aller Eile, erst am Tag vor unserer Reise. Ich war in Eile. Aber insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Villa sehr genossen. + Gute Lage; die Villa liegt etwas abseits, ist daher ruhig, aber dennoch gut erreichbar. Insgesamt gefiel uns der Aufenthalt in einer Villa besser als in einem Hotel; es war unsere erste Erfahrung. Leckeres Frühstück mit einer Auswahl an Menüs. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, lächelnd und aufmerksam. Sie waren zuvorkommend und kümmerten sich um unser Gepäck, während wir ein paar Tage in Ubud verbrachten. Draußen zu duschen ist viel angenehmer als drinnen. Wir wurden jeden Tag von Mücken belästigt. Die Geckos, sehr nette Nachbarn, lebten in unserem Erdgeschoss. Privater Innenhof und Frühstück mit Vogelgezwitscher ❤️ Insekten. Mich stört das nicht weiter, aber wer Angst vor Insekten hat, sollte das bedenken. Ameisen, Raupen, Mücken – davon gibt es ziemlich viele. Lärmbelästigung: Bei Nachbarn ist die Anwesenheit spürbar. Die Handtücher sind ziemlich abgenutzt.

Das Frühstück ist ungenießbar, der Service nicht vorhanden, die Lage ist gut, aber das Personal ist sehr schlecht. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich heruntergekommen und die Bilder sind manipuliert.

We stayed for one night in a 2 bedroom garden bungalow at Villa Coco and loved it! The villa was beautiful and tropical. It featured a tropical outdoor living area and your own backyard. My kids loved lazing in the hammock. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. It had cold air-conditioning. Both rooms had a toilet, downstairs featured an outdoor shower (water was cold, which was ok as it was a hot day). We had a great sleep. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets and pillows felt very clean. The area was quiet and dark considering it was so close to the action. We had a great stay and will be sure to return! I could not recommend it enough!

My sister, girlfriend & I stayed at Villa Coco for 10 days. This is my 3rd stay here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff are unbelievable - Enda & all the reception, cleaning, bar and gardening staff couldn't be more helpful. Met the owner and he was so proud of his staff which was lovely. Close to everything but down a quiet lane. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a pool. Breakfast was lovely and our villa was cleaned each day and turndown service each night. I can highly recommend this place - you'll love it.

Our family loved staying at Villa Coco. The villas were great and shared pool was refreshing. It was great to hang around the pool area having cocktails at happy hour before heading out to dinner. Order in options for local restaurants was very handy. “Felicity”s restaurant was amazing for ordering in food for the family. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and Bintang supermarket.

Firstly, the staff were lovely, welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. If you needed anything, they were there and more than willing to help. They would humour me in my attempts at speaking odd Bahasa Indonesia while I was there, but obviously spoke perfectly good English. I stayed in a 'villa with a garden view. The villa is exactly as advertised and has a more traditional feel. Very large, and the very well maintained garden was a great feature to sit in front of and have breakfast or do a workout on, while the outdoor terrace with the couch and hammock was great to relax. The outdoor bathroom was nice and also screened to prevent people looking in. The villa was stocked with cutlery, plates, etc so you could bring meals in, while it also had drinkable water. The bedroom itself is quite spacious and has everything you would need for a longer stay (wardrobe, safe, storage space) and a nice outlook over the garden. While the bed was a touch hard, it comes with a mosquito net the staff would set up for you every afternoon. The air conditioner worked very well. The main pool was great place to spend the afternoon and have a drink. The cooking class seemed popular and smelled great, although I did not participate myself, it looked like people enjoyed it. The location was good. Busy, but not crazy. There were enough cafes, warungs and bars around to keep you occupied. There is a shortcut through a back laneway making it about a 5 minute walk to the beach and the beach bars had good entertainment at night. As with everywhere in Bali, it seems a lot of construction was happening, but that's unavoidable at the moment.

What a lovey oasis in the middle of chaotic Bali! The room was comfy and perfectly looked after by the staff... We had a quaint kitchenette in the garden, a huge shower room/bathroom and a 4 poster bed. We had a great time around the pool with drinks readily available all day and breakfast, in your room, but we opted to have at the poolside. The staff were so helpful sorting our entertainment and taxis. The shops, bars, spas and laundry not far away walking and also the beach. Wholly recommended!

Absolute terrible experience, too start we arrived at around 12-1pm we had requested early check in did not hear from them too say yes or no so we assumed it was fine. We then were told we had to wait until 3 to check in we asked for somewhere aircondioned area to sit and wait as we have a 5 year old a 4 year old and a 11 month old and were told to go by the pool, the pool was dirty and gross service at the bar was terrible, so we waited another hour and then we asked reception if there was anyway too fast track the room clean and the lady was very rude and aggressive telling us there is no way they could do that, while this was all happening the apparent owner or old owner mouthed something behind my back and when I asked what she said she said she had Tourette’s and she clearly did not and was just saying something rude, my brother has Tourette’s and I find this extremely rude and sad that she has joked or claimed to have a disability that is a very serious thing that effects the life’s of a lot of people including my own. Also on the website it states that strollers/prams and baby seats were available at the villa, when we asked about this we were laughed at and told that we were lying and there is no such thing I’ve attached a photo of prove that it had got this on their website. After all of this we finally got into our villa at 2:30-3pm straight away we noticed a really bad mould smell and that the floors were not clean at all despite waiting so long for the clean, we found that all the pillows were full of mould really bad if we had of slept on them it would of made us sick mould is toxic. The shower was outside and the building above could see right into the ‘bathroom’ making it really awkward and uncomfortable to shower especially with my young children. The cutlery was dirty and gross not cleaned properly, breakfast in the morning was cold and stale and tiny portions we threw most of it away, some of the staff were very helpful but some were very rude and condescending, Overall I do not recommend going to coco villa it was an experience we will never forget and 1 star is too good for this if we could it would be -5 stars, will never be coming back and will be trying to warn everyone about this horrendous Villa, we have tried multiple times to get into contact with the Australian owners with no luck at all leaving the poor Balinese staff to try deal with this all, not happy at all and I hope no one else has to go through what we just went through so spread the word STAY AWAY FROM mould infested villa coco
