The resort is great and the staff were so excellent. The room is nice, clean and the bed is wow big. The location is great closed to ubud centre. The garden is well beautiful and well maintained. The pool, food are great. We are very happy to stay here.

Great cheap 3* hotel find in Ubud. Clean rooms, friendly staff and well located for ubud touring and trips. Rooms are big with very big beds. Particularly liked breakfast by the tranquil pool area. WiFi was strong too if that makes a difference to those working

Nice pool, good beds, nice balcony, beautiful patio and design of hotel. Hotel where you feel very quickly comfortable, the location is quiet and set back from the road. The staff is very nice and the manager is very caring, he can organize you all the activities around and it is very nice. We slept very well, room on the ground floor near the pool, we recommend it 100%

We had a lovely stay here. Spent 4 nights. The rooms are very comfortable. The pool is very relaxing. The staff were very attentive. They do a very good breakfast. There is a supermarket right outside for any essentials. Although it is a couple of miles outside the centre of Ubud, it is easy to get a taxi via reception and there are taxi ranks in central Ubud so easy to get back. Or you can walk back easily in daylight. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Would recommend The Black Penny. Also the local rib shack.

I stayed at Awatara Boutique Hotel for 5 nights in mid January. The hotel is located about 1.5 km outside of the main town of Ubud, on a fairly quiet road. There are two small convenience stores just next to the hotel and a handful of restaurants on the same street! The hotel grounds were beautiful! Lush with greenery, a small pond with coy fish, and a beautiful swimming pool! Rooms were incredible large and spacious. Well designed, with very elegant lighting and tasteful decor. My room was pool view and came with a private balcony, a large Hollywood bed (bigger than a King size!), a desk with chairs, two arm chairs, 2 bed side tables with soft lamps, a massive 2 door wooden cabinet with ample storage and drawers, a mini fridge which kept its cool during the day when you left the room (smart design!), a folding luggage rack, an electric kettle with tea and coffee making supplies. 2 bottles of water were provided and replenished each morning by housekeeping. The bathroom was superb - sparkling clean and well designed. There was a large western toilet, a bathtub, and a rain shower, with a glass wall to prevent water from flooding the floor. 3 large dispensers of liquid hand soap, shower gel and shampoo were in room. Toiletries were replaced by housekeeping every morning. Ample towels were provided - soft, clean and smelled fresh each morning! Water was hot and water pressure was excellent! Housekeeping services were efficient and on point - towels and all room toiletries were replaced daily! Bed sheets were also changed frequently! The included breakfast was delicious. You choose from a set menu of 3-4 different options including American style breakfast, continental, Asian style breakfast. Good sized meals! Air conditioning and ventilation in the room were excellent! The wifi signal in the room was very strong, and the room was well equipped with electrical sockets - smart design. The room came with a flatscreen tv, with several English channels including a news channel, the discovery channel and 2 movie channels. Reception staff and management were superb! Highly professional, courteous and accommodated the needs of guests! Overall, a terrific stay at Awatara Boutique Hotel! The hotel itself was very elegant and the client-oriented service truly put it over the top! I would very gladly stay here again if I find myself in Ubud, Bali, as it was an exceptional hotel!
