The Cornish Inn

We stayed at the Inn for one night, everyone was so nice. The room was sweet, very clean, warm and nicely decorated. The lady at check in was professional and wonderful, very welcoming. The restaurant had the best breakfast ever! Would definitely stay again. We enjoyed the antiques in town as well.

Wonderful hotel , Lauren the manager was very friendly and helpful, Lindsay’s kitchen has fantastic food and a nice little bar too . Centrally located close to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking and lovely covered porch to watch the town from .

Yes, incredible pillows! Beautifully curated rooms. All the right appointments, details, and comforts. Amazing quiet restful nights. I slept like a hibernating bear. People were warm and gracious. Every system was modernized and working well.

We traveled to Maine for a wedding and the Cornish Inn was recommended by the bride and groom. We could not have been more pleased. The staff was delightful and our room was charming! Lindsey's Kitchen, which is the onsite restaurant was a wonderful bonus! We loved sitting on the porch for our meals. There were gorgeous flowers in hanging baskets and window boxes decorating the porch. It was a lovely setting. Our thanks to all! Postscript: There are fun shops across the street from the Inn. Do not miss a visit!

A Norman Rockwell painting come to life… I cannot begin to say how indelible this place is. Inextricably clean. Very quiet. Impeccable attention to detail. Only good vibes here with deep history. The restaurant attached to it, Lindsay’s, is also phenomenal. The town itself is quaint and idyllic. filled with local art and brilliant antiques, some of which Martha Stewart is known to shop from time to time. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the square. Parking is easy. The staff is beyond kind and checking in is hassle free. I highly recommend it. And the church bells on the hour takes you back to a time before the world got busy…

The bed was SOOO uncomfortable!! We could feel the springs in the mattress and the indentations from where previous guests had slept over the years. The whole room was tilted, and when we first laid on the bed, we literally rolled towards one side. Both nights we woke up numerous times, stiff and sore, hoping the morning light would break so we could be done sleeping in that bed. Not the feeling you want to have. There were nails sticking up from the old creaking floorboard which is very dangerous. One floorboard in particular felt like it was about to break. Additionally there are no coffee machines or ways to make tea in the rooms, you have to go down to the lobby. Both mornings, the single coffee carafe was either empty or cold. The walls are super thin, so you can hear everyone downstairs, in the halls and as they enter the building. It's too bad because the woman who runs it seems very nice, it's a historic building, it feels quaint when you first look walk in. New beds, new pillows, and coffee in the rooms would make a big difference.
