Cozy, quiet 2nd-story getaway located next to the ski area. TINY -- for only 1 person or for a couple. Modern but VERY DATED and very rustic condo among several in the building and area. Full galley kitchen with dining at the counter or outside medium-sized deck. NO TV SERVICES AT ALL. Queen bed in a separate bedroom and a bathroom with a shower/bathtub located in the hall between the living room and bedroom. Enjoy a wood-burning fireplace, wifi, and free parking right outside.Located in the Village of Angel Fire on the way to the Ski Area.A fully stocked grocery store is located conveniently a half-mile away for your provisions; and multiple food joints nearby, as well as along the main street a little further away.The very high altitude and "dry" climate can cause nose bleeds and/or dry sinuses, and even headaches. If sensitive to that, bring nose moisturizer and appropriate medication. And body lotion.The hot water heater works well for the shower and kitchen sink. It's potable water but bring bottled water if the tap water is not your preference -- lots of minerals. I cook and wash with it but I drink bottled water only when I'm there.The stairway and door constitute a private entry.I will provide you with a passcode for the deadlock. It is in a condominium building with other condos and condominium buildings around. The balcony is a decent size but runs flush against the next-door neighbor's -- so there may be limited privacy out there.The stairway is a bit steep so Tree Top is best suited for ADULT GUESTS ONLY -- no children and pets. It can be slippery with snow and rain -- so please be careful!The condo complex no longer provides satellite TV services. There is no smart TV or Roku.However, I believe the internet connection is strong enough to support those services -- BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP WITH YOU."Tree Top" (my tiny condo home) is where you connect with nature, peace, each other, and yourself.To walk/hike, to ski, to read, to journal, to talk to one another, to rest/relax/recover/restore/recup - and to interact through games/puzzles.There are books and games inside and the great outdoors right out the door.You can build a fire and watch it, or fill up the hummingbird feeder and watch them.Everyday I hike. Just walk out the door and walk the opposite way on Vail Ave - and you will find wonderful and inspiring forest and views.I go for miles up and then back - and I even lose weight every time I'm there 'cause it is such a workout. (BRING WATER WITH YOU).But you can also drive in your vehicle up there. Trails End is just minutes away from the ski slopes, grocery store, Country Club and Golf Course. It has two stories of windows that look to the east to catch the beautiful sunrise and the mountains peeking over the tree tops.This three-level home has an entry and garage on the bottom level. When you enter the house there is a small welcome area with a bench to take off boots and a place to hang coats or ski clothes. It has a queen sleeper sofa and a 3/4 bathroom with a shower. There is also a Smart TV which would be a great area for the kids. A full-size washer/dryer is located on this level.The main level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a tub/shower. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has a queen bed. There is a large kitchen, dining, and living area with an open floor plan. The east wall is two stories of windows allowing plenty of natural light and gorgeous views available from all three rooms. A gas fireplace and smart TV makes this spacious area great for entertainment and relaxation. Off of the dining/living area there is a deck that spans across the front of the house and around to the south side. It has a large patio 2 different tables seating four at each. There is a new gas grill for cooking out in the evenings. Its a great place to start or end your day!Off of the living area there is a sun room with a quaint garden table that seats four. It has windows around three sides with a great view of the surrounding area. It also has a door leading out to the deck. It’s set up as a game area, There is a variety of children and adult games, some in the credenza under stairs leading up to top floor.The spacious master bedroom is an open loft that over looks the living area and has a king size bed. It has an en-suite full-size bathroom, small walk-in closet, and its own deck. This 1200 square foot condo is just a short walk to the main lift. It is one of the largest 2 bedrooms in Angel Fire. It also has shuttle service directly in front of the building. The main bedroom features a king size bed and two twin beds with attached bathroom. A washer/ dryer is located in a closet in the main bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and brand new bunk beds. Another bathroom is off the same hallway as the second bedroom. With an entryway separating the main bedroom, this condo has perfect privacy for two families, or one large family. The condo is capable of sleeping up to 8 people in beds. It also has a pull out couch bed to sleep additional people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for dining in. The Living room features a gas burning fireplace, with Rokus for streaming connected with free high-speed internet. A deck is though sliding glass doors off the living area. There is seating for 4 at the bar and 4 at the table with additional 2 person seating at the game table. New bed linens and towels are provided. Books, games and some DVDs with DVD players are also inside the condo, perfect for staying in. Park in a paved parking lot. The condo is on the second floor with inside stairs so no slippery stairs in the winter! Once you are inside, there are no additional stairs to navigate and all the living area is on one floor. This condo is just blocks from the lift and walking distance to all the local restaurants, grocery store and outdoor summer music events. Enjoy biking, hiking, fishing and skiing and all the outdoor local fun. Then in the evening enjoy a cuddle by the fire, a glass of wine and family game night! Smaller complex for more private/quiet stays.My mother and daughter live nearby. I commute from Texas regularly. Someone is always available to come to the property for any issues within about 20-30 minutes. We often have extra things you might have forgotten-like sleds or goggles. Just text and we will try to help where and how we can.Two blocks from lift-shuttle drop off/pick up just on other side of the street from numbered parking space. One block walk to restaurants and rental shop.Parking is a private marked space. There are two guest spaces directly to the right of our space. Walking the neighborhood is easy.
