SShijiaochaxianOur family had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. What impressed me most was how child-friendly the hotel is — my kids were happy from the moment we arrived, and they enjoyed every bit of their stay. From the thoughtful little touches to the welcoming atmosphere, everything made it easy and enjoyable to travel with children. The food was also outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes that pleased both adults and kids. We will definitely be coming back!

SSimagin_IvanThe resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax!
The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip.
The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable.
The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help.
During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach.
What could be improved:
1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience.
2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed.
3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it.
Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it.

LLorand’sUnser Aufenthalt im Badladz Beach und Tauchresort war fantastisch. Von unserer Ankunft bis zu unserer Abreise verbrachten wir fünf wundervolle Tage.
Wir hatten ursprünglich ein Zimmer gebucht und entschieden uns bei unserer Ankunft für ein Upgrade auf eine voll möblierte Wohnung. Das war eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Das Personal war wirklich hilfsbereit und ging auf alle unsere Wünsche ein. Die Sauberkeit des Resorts und der Zimmer war zufriedenstellend, das Essen war gut zubereitet und köstlich. Ein großes Lob an den Koch. Wir haben draußen gegessen, aber ich persönlich fand das Essen nicht so lecker wie im Resort. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps zu Aktivitäten wie Jetski, Parasailing und Schnorcheln. Die Leute auf der Insel sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dreiradfahrten kosten 50 Pesos. Im Hafen von Minolo gibt es Festpreise für Fahrten und Aktivitäten. Was mir gefiel, war, dass das Wasser im Badladz Resort klarer und flacher war als im White Beach. Für Kinder ist es besser und macht mehr Spaß. Wir empfehlen dieses Resort für Freunde, Familie und für Veranstaltungen. Es ist der richtige Ort, um Ihren Aufenthalt in Puerto Galera zu genießen.

The location is truly special – stunning views, beautifully designed villas, a very well-kept property, and breathtaking sunsets by the pool or from the terrace. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a luxurious getaway.
Be aware that getting there can be a bit tricky. Buses from Manila to Batangas City run regularly, but the last ferry departs at 4 PM. Make sure to plan your trip accordingly – we ran into some issues because of this.
The food is more expensive than local options, but very clean and easily adaptable to vegetarian needs. While the vegetarian menu is limited, the manager was very accommodating and open to adjustments, which we truly appreciated.
There are plenty of activities: a paid boat transfer to Secret Bay, trips to Sabang, diving, massages, and more. Just keep in mind to clarify whether you book activities through the hotel or third-party providers, as prices can vary and surcharges are common.
Some small downsides: our room was only cleaned on two of the four days, which didn’t meet the highest hygiene standards, and the beach could be a little cleaner.
Still, we had a very enjoyable stay. The combination of friendly staff, beautiful setting, and unique location makes this hotel highly recommendable.

GGastnutzerThis hotel is very new and somewhat inconvenient. It is high on a hill which was not very accessible by walking as major roadworks complicated the route and also slowed traffic up and down. While only 10 minutes away from the main Sabang area (climbing down), the climb up made it unpleasant and inconvenient either on foot or in a vehicle. The room was simple with limited facilities (no fridge or TV) and not competitively priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was spam and rice. The pool area was unwelcoming (exposed and bare of furniture). Service and support is pleasant but minimal. The place was empty and a little sad when we stayed (even though the town was busy). We were quite glad to leave.
I think the place needs development and is a work in progress and when ready, it might be nice, but not yet.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel ist sehr interessant als Mittelalters Schloss gebaut. Es gibt einen Schwimmbad auf dem Gebiet, manchmal live Musik wird um ihn am Abend gespielt. In den Zimmern Möbel aus natürlichem Baum, chic Betten mit Baldachin. Das Restaurant ist leckeres Essen und ein 20% Rabatt für Hotelgäste. Das Hotel ist nicht am Strand, sondern in der Nähe, in einer bequemen Lage im Zentrum. Von den Mängeln: Es war nicht immer heißes Wasser, das Zimmer sicher funktionierte nicht. Einige Zimmer sind hoch, die Treppe auf ihnen zu klettern ist schwer, es gibt keinen Aufzug. Für ihr Geld ist eine sehr gute Option.

AaldenZhaoGutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, der Preis für die fünfmonatige Urlaubszeit ist billig. Die Innenhygiene ist gut, die Handtücher und andere Produkte sind frisch, die Zahnfäden werden gepflückt, es ist besser, das Haar zu waschen. Sehr nahe am Meer, 3 Minuten zu Fuß, neben dem Tauchclub gibt es viele. Die umliegenden Mahlzeiten können auch getrunken werden, das koreanische Restaurant ist nicht schlecht.

Pros:
- The lady who was in charge (We think she's the manager) is really nice and helpful.
- Distance: THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE DEAL. Hotel is near the beach and most of the local restaurants so we didn't experience any problem. (I recommend the cafe and 'Terminal' near the beach 😊)
- AC and the room was perfect. It was really hot outside and the temp plus the room felt really homey and comfy
- The hotel was really pretty or what we call aesthetic. My baby really liked the designs
- Free breakfast and coffee was a good deal, but don't expect too much.
- How much we got the reservation for 3d2n. Great offer from this app :)
- Staff are nice especially the ones in the restaurant. Wasn't able to ask her name but she was a waiter there and also served our food (afternoon) and the guy who was at the front desk when we checked out
Cons:
- Service fee. I do understand that this is necessary to support the staff, but if you are on a tight budget it might be better to eat outside (sorry...)
- Food was too expensive for the quality and the quantity... I recommend the chicken inasal since it had a big portion.
- Room service and cleanliness - Manager said we could ask for a room service and we could just call them of we need one. We called them on our second day and we waited until our stay ended but no onr came to clean 😅 The girl who answered the phone was kinda masungit or maybe it was the tone of her voice. She told me that they are quiet busy at the moment and told me to just wait - I do understand if they're short staffed or something? But the dirt was kinda bothering us already so we just tried to clean the room on our own
- Cockroaches and ants. So in connection to my previous review... Yes, there are cockroaches in the room especially the bathroom. It doesn't help that they don't clean the rooms daily.
- Breakfast is not a room service. You have to go down to the restaurant and eat it there.
- Room view. Our room was in the corner of the hotel. Our view was okay because we are can view the pool... And our neighbors ac unit lmao. On the plus side since the units were emitting hot air, it was easier for us to dry our towels 😂 It was really different from the picture.
- Pool was kinda dirty
- Overpriced goods. They have a mini store in the hotel but it would be better to pack up snacks or drinks before coming here.
- OUTSIDE FOOD ARE NOT ALLOWED. Better be careful when bringing meals in the hotel.
Even after listing this, we would still love to come back and stay here. I do hope they give us a better room next time 😅
