Ibis Sète Balaruc les Bains Bien-être et Spa

The hotel is located behind electronic gates for vehicles and thick hedges for pedestrians approached through a pleasent garden and paved terrace to a building that has the appearance of a 1960s block of flats. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful with good English. Room overlooking the car park and another block of flats. The room was small, the bed large, it had a nice balcony but no outdoor furniture which was disappointing. The bathroom was very small, the sink was so close to the shower entrance it made getting in and out difficult. Pleasant walk into the village and a well paved, well lit promenade alongside the etang, but uphill climb back. Probably wouldnt stay in this hotel again as the room was too small and basic.

We stayed one night as we were just passing through on the way to Spain. We stay in Ibis hotels a lot and you always know what you are going to get, a decent, clean room, comfy bed & a good breakfast. Not so in this case. This is not a standard Ibis, it looks like its been converted from something else, another hotel or maybe an apartment block. As a consequence, we had the tiniest Ibis room I have ever seen and the tiniest bathroom. As an example, I had to move the folding luggage rack & the chairs and table just so that we could move around the bed and so that I had a one metre space to place my dogs bed. NOT what I would expect from Ibis. In fact, as a gold member, I would have expected an upgrade to a better room but obviously this did not happen. On the plus side, staff were friendly, I got my welcome drink without having to ask for it and the food in the restaurant was OK. Pets allowed for a small charge On the minus side, the tiny room as mentioned above, the car park surface needs attention it being rutted and old, hotel is a bit difficult to find but the satnav sorted that out. Hotel has a pool and spa that we didnt use as only there the one night. Would I stay again, probably not.

Good location, copious breakfast, friendly staff but, considering COVID, poor hygiene in the bedroom - finger marks and squashed insects on the glass of the door leading to the balcony. When we asked the cleaner to do something about it, she said it was not her job and that the glass was only cleaned once every 2 months (!!!) by an outside company. Not good enough. Also, one person visibly on duty at breakfast was not enough for the numbers, especially since there was a sports team devouring everything in sight. Finally, there was no one on duty at the pool each time I went so rules were not respected - some men wore shorts, some people were on their mobile phones, etc., etc.

Agréable séjour. La piscine, le hamam, l'accueil et la chambre sont agréables. Super petit déjeuner aussi avec une large amplitude horaire. Dommage qu'il faisait si chaud et que les repas n'étaient pas faits maison. Le parking sécurisé était appréciable aussi.

Je tiens à remercier Mlle LOHIMA, pour l'ensemble des informations qu'elle a su m'apporter pour ma réservation pour le mois d'avril que j'avais effectué sur weekdense , un peu perdu elle m'a apporté une aide précieuse et su me diriger pour finaliser cette réservation. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'énergie qu'elle a déployer pour me conseiller;;;;;;MERCI R. DUPUY

El hotel está un poco alejado del centro pero el sitio es precioso y transmite mucha calma. Cenamos y desayunamos en el hotel y todo era excelente. El recepcionista del hotel un encanto. El parking es gratuito y la piscina y el spa están muy bien también. La tele es enorme y la calidad del sueño y limpieza muy buenos.

L'hôtel est peu vieillissant mais les chambres sont refaites avec une bonne literie.le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des produits frais.noys avons tester le restaurant avec un diner tres bien avec des prix raisonnables. La piscine et le hammam sont bien.le seul bémol que je puisse trouver c'est aujourd'hui c'est au niveau du parking pas évident quand il est plein.Poyr ma part une bonne découverte.

je reviens d un week end a cet hotel Ibis a Balaruc les bains et je suis enchanté de se petit hotel avec une piscine interieure chauffé et un hammam ou on peut aller a volonté pendant notre sejour et se jusqu a 22h compris dans le prix de l hotel !! a l hotel on vous prette serviettes et peignoirs blanc pour la piscine et a la sortie on les mets dans des bacs a linges et le lendemain on nous en re prette d autre le top des top hotel dans la pinéde de Balaruc pas tres loin de la ville et de la plage a pieds tres propre acceuil super familial au top petit dejeuné tres copieux et a volonté jusqu a 10h nous avons pris nos repas du soir au restaurant de l hotel ou les prix sont tres correctes ex moi j ai pris entrecote frites salade pour 18 euros les animaux son acceptés y a une terrasse exterieure avec des cendrier pour les fumeurs !! c etait un coffret box a 100 euros pour deux personnes avec petit dejeuné et bouteille de vin on a été tres bien aceuillit je retournerais prochainement a cet hotel malgres les chambres pas tres grande mais avec un balcon pensez a mener des claquettes pour la piscine car des vestieres a la piscine le sol est tres glissant

Je n'avais rien prévu pour mon week-end, rien réservé.... L'accueil, la gentillesse, le petit dejeuner, le resto, la propreté, la situation, le calme... que du positif pour moi, j'ai hate d'y retourner, seule ou en famille Bonne continuation, a tres vite
