While it didn't necessarily stand out as exceptional, the hotel provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay in Banda Aceh. Overall, I had a positive experience at the Hip Hope Hotel."

"Simple, adequate accommodation. Our room was on the third floor with steep stairs. No toilet paper. Dirty tray with glasses. We would have liked some breakfast options for Western travellers -something like scrambled egg would have been appreciated!"

"Strategic location next to Suzuya mall, roundabout and eateries. The staff were helpful and nice, rooms were clean and relatively new. Breakfast was nice as well. The only downside is the provided towels were too small for the average person and they don't look clean."

"We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Ayani and were very satisfied with the stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was ok, not that big but it was clean. There was aircon and an electric kettle and it worked. The bathroom was ok with plenty of hot water and a really good shower. The bedding was clean and the bed good. There was wifi and it worked perfectly. The breakfast was a buffet and consisted mostly of local dishes. Unfortunately the hot dishes were cold. The hotel is centrally located in the city. The hotel itself is neat and tidy and we can definitely recommend staying here."
