Hotel Hacienda San Pancho

Do not stay here! 1. Noise: I chose this hotel using my credit card points because it was not in the town so it was supposed to be quieter. I was totally wrong! My room faced the river and I could here people partying across the bridge. The door to my balcony didn't close so I couldn't tune out the noise from the party people or the morning roosters. I slept poorly. 2. Electric problems I came back after 10pm and the lights in my room didn't turn on. I could have bumped into something. The receptionist was gone. The only person there was the night watchman and it was his first day on the job. He called and texted Raul, the manager, several times and Raul didn't respond. The maintenance person was nowhere to be found. So the nightwatchman had to call his boss and get permission to leave his post to help me with the lights. He figured out that there was a problem with the switches and the main overhead light on the fan didn't work at all! 3. No refund Raul, the manager, told me I would get a refund but I never did. I wrote him a message and he didn't respond. 4. The hotel is big and has no coffee service! You have to cross the bridge and go into town to get food or coffee. This is ridiculous. Don't stay here if you want to get a good night's sleep and have working lamps!
