原先預訂的酒店，沒房了，衹能就近隨便預訂一間。酒店外觀看着還行，衹是，英國🇬🇧訂的雙床房，居然是一大一小的床🛏️，父親和兒子的房間，衹能偏矮的父親睡小床。房間內除了上廁所用的捲紙，連桌上使用的紙巾都沒有，可想而知的經濟房了。前台也是一直沒有服務員，服務也是一般。

I don't normally leave a review for Premier Inns as they are normally all of a standard, however this particular one, which we visit fairly regularly, is well above most Premier Inns - staff are always very friendly, and rooms are very clean and well presented. This week we encountered the new chef Craig who produced an excellent breakfast, and went that little bit further to make our meal enjoyable.

I stayed at the Barnwood for an overnight stay for work. My room was clean. the hairdryer was a bit hit and miss in working but reception were grateful that I let them know that a replacement was probably due. I ate at the Wheatstone pub which is literally on the doorstep. Good food reasonably priced. Make sure you book a table well in advance for the Wheatstone. Also be sure to book a table for breakfast at the Hotel otherwise you will miss out on Craig's cooked fresh to order poached eggs which are excellent. Cooked breakfast items are prepared in smaller batches so there is a good turnaround of freshly made food.

One of the most cleanest premier inn s I've been in, Very quite, Someone actually at reception, Breakfast was exceptional, The chef Craig was happy to cook anything on demand beautiful poached eggs, And the fried eggs were not left there to dry up, Happily cooked on demand. And constantly topped up food by not putting to much out to dry out, Would DEFFINATELY stay there again.

It is a nice place to stay but several staff were rude including the cleaner. My mother in law was 2 doors away and when going to her room we were yelled at by the cleaner for going the wrong way down the corridor. Breakfast was okay. Bacon and sausages burnt to a crisp so inedible. Woman booking us in for breakfast was very rude saying you must pay before entering. Would have liked my kids and elderly mother in law too sit down whilst I paid but apparently they can't let you in until we paid even though we reserved tables. I then had to wait at reception to pay and this was not good for my family. So common sense needed to come in here. We need to book again next year as my daughter is in a show but will probably find alternative hotel with more friendly staff.

Came with friends for Cheltenham Races- so grateful to get a last minute booking! Hotel looks tired, front door has been smashed in and was on a quiet Industrial site… breakfast was really good and set up for the day (there is no downstairs bathroom either btw). Had a cold welcome which I understand when a group of girls come in with drinks in hand and suitcases- but a smile would have felt warming that “here’s your card”. We had no idea what floor but guessed by it starting with 3 it was the 3rd floor. We were greeted by an older lady the next morning who hyped us up and was so complimentary- really started our day! If you’re here on business or a single night, it’s fine… but the hotel just looks old and needs revamping!

A warm and friendly welcome. The room was standard with all the facilities you'd expect. The room was clean. There was plenty of tea and coffee and more available if needed. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great too. Would recommend this site.
