酒店是一座有着300年歷史的古堡。房主人也居住在古堡並親自打理幾間客房。房主人非常熱情好客，入住當天我們到達晚了，房主為我們推薦和預訂了附近的中餐廳用晚餐。第二天的早餐也是房主親自準備的，豐盛而温馨。很多食材都取自自家或附近農場，蘋果蜂蜜各種莓果，還有房主烤的黃油蛋糕。用完早餐，客廳稍坐，就有孔雀來到窗外。冒着細雨，漫步在古堡莊園，孔雀一家在前方開路。非常舒適和特別的體驗。預訂了兩個房型，有一間可以遠眺聖米歇爾山。

古堡酒店，很美！堡主很熱情，傢俱和瓷器都很喜歡，早餐很豐富！如果喜歡古色的可以嘗試預訂！

Wir waren zu Beginn unserer Normandiereise hier und haben es genossen. Ein wunderbarer Ort um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Die Gastgeber sind einfach einmalig und machen den Aufenthalt zum einmaligen Erlebnis. Das Frühstück ist unbeschreiblich

We stayed here as we had arrived at Cherbourg and didn’t want to travel too far on day one. Very happy with the Mont St Michel suite. Lovely view over the parkland and the bathroom was well appointed and high quality. The public rooms and dining room are full of carefully considered antiques and the chateau has been maintained to a very high standard. The owner was delightful and we wondered around the park and water gardens after our welcome home produced cider. Rather than dining out we had a picnic in the park which the host provided plates / cutlery etc for, which was kind. Breakfast was high quality and more home produced apple juice and honey. Has to be 5 stars!

We unfortunately only stayed one night at this amazing castle, but it was a memorable one! The castle is fantastically well restored and the owners care about the smallest detail. It is a huge "wild" garden that you can walk in, with beautiful plants, horses, swans and peacocks. The breakfast was personal, wonderfully good and served by the owners. If you want to live and feel the beat of history - live here!

We actually traveled in August, 2022. This place is sensational! Just over-the-top stunning in every way. The decor, the antiques, the grounds, the food, the owners - all wonderful. We took an entire day away from touring just to stay here and read, walk the grounds, and rest. You will feel like royalty. The owners are so hospitable and friendly, and they have taken such care in restoring this lovely home to its authentic self. Wow!

Chantore was the perfect place to stay when visiting Mont St. Michel - we could even see the Mont out our windows, past the beautifully restored and maintained grounds. (It was about a 30 - 40 minute drive to the Mont from Chantore.) The grounds are well worth visiting, with well-maintained paths leading past a number of massive historic trees dating back to the 1800's and historic restored follies. The house, decorated in 18th-century style throughout, contains a great deal of beautiful antique and restored artwork, and would be worth visiting for that alone. Our suite was extremely comfortable - the bathrooms were fully modern - and our host Bernard was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent, among the best we have had in France.

Over the top excellence here. Bernard was zealous to make sure everything was right. He noticed what I didnt eat at breakfast and adjusted for me the next morning. His 25 year art collection is amazing. Worth staying here for that alone. Felt like a step back in time, but the hosts made sure all modern day amenities were there. Had a room with view of Mont St Michele in the distance, also sitting room, writing desk area, huge bathroom, plush bathrobes. After checking in, we decided to spend part of our time just enjoying the chateau, rather than going into town. Rain put a damper on our enjoyed the grounds on foot, but we enjoyed them from our room windows. This was our final stay in a 2 week trip, and really put a cherry on top of our trip.

Chantore is enchanting! Not only is the castle beautifully and elegantly decorated, the grounds are magnificent. And the hosts, Inaki and Bernard, are kind, considerate and gracious. I felt like royalty! Walking the grounds is a soothing and delightful experience with surprises along the way. Not only do they have peacocks, there is a swan family as well as horses. I was surprised to see a Giant Redwood tree and there are several on the property. Breakfast was a delight with great food in a room filled with antiques, particularly blue and white china. It is amazing how you feel you are in a wonderful castle but are also comfortable and at home. I will always remember my wonderful stay there.

Magnificent castle experience! Merci to our spectacular hosts @chateaudechantore for their wonderful hospitality!💋Michel surprised me by whisking me away for the long weekend to visit Mont St Michel. Imagine my surprise when I who live “la vie en rose” arrived at a pink château! 💕It was absolutely perfect and decorated, restored and run with so much love by the owners.🌹 Breakfast was exceptional. 🏰 Even better than life with a silver spoon is eating Bernard’s soft Normandy scrambled eggs on a gold Christofle fork. 🦢Lovebirds will feel right at home next to the peacocks and the swans. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Everything about this property is exquisite. 💫 The breakfast table was truly set for a king with so much opulence, thoughtful details and beauty- I can not wait to go back. 👑 If you like New England B & Bs, do yourself a favor and visit this magnificent chateau in France!🇫🇷

I booked the Chateau de Chantore on January 19, 2023 for October 4-7, 2023 And paid a €360 as a deposit unfortunately my husband had to have an operation and a week later I had to cancel the booking. I have asked for a refund of the the deposit paid. I called emailed all to no avail. Yo date I still have not not received a refund. DO NOT SEND A DEPOSIT to the Chateau de Chantore unless you are 100% certain that you will be staying there Respectfully submitted Carmen Bianchi

We had two great nights at Chateau Chantore. After visiting Mont Saint Michel we picked up a car in Avranche before spendig the day in Bayeux. We then back tracked to the chateau, and it was quite the treat. It is a beautifully restored building in wonderful grounds. The house is filled with Fench antiques and plush soft furnishings. We were well looked after by Bernard with a welcome tour and drinks. He booked us dinners at nearbye restaurants and we had fabulous breakfasts in the sumptuous dining room. Highly recommended.
