Sehr schönes Hotel. Da es nicht am der Lechtaler Durchgangsstraße liegt, ist es im Alpenblick ruhig und erholsam. Die Zimmer sind neu und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Zum Abendessen innerhalb der Halbpension Auswahl unter 5 Hauptgerichten. Ich habe jedesmal sehr gut gegessen. Ganz großes Kompliment dem Besitzer und allen in seinem Team für die Freundlichkeit und die Kompetenz mir gegenüber. Danke für eine tolle Woche. Ich komme wieder.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights with another couple while attending the wine festival in a town next to Bacharach. From check in to check out, we thought everything was perfect. The staff is super friendly offering advice on places to eat and things to do. They speak English, German, and more. While the rooms are older, they were all we needed for a good night sleep. The breakfast is good with many offerings. Parking is free outside the wall. While we didn't bring swimsuits, we were pleasantly surprised to find an indoor pool. The only time spent in the hotel was to sleep, to eat breakfast, and to enjoy a nightcap on the balcony with a view of the old castle. A truly humble hotel that scored five stars in my book!

This is a nice hotel, if a little dated and in need of a little TLC! The staff are friendly and the breakfast good. It’s in a central location about a 7 minute walk from the train station but it’s rather expensive at around £100 per night. What was very disappointing (leading to the loss of 2 stars) was the fact that the hotel is still being advertised on ********** as having a restaurant. It doesn’t! I booked this hotel as it is advertised as having a highly recommended restaurant. I found it very difficult to find anything to eat for dinner during my stay in Bacharach. This information page should be amended accordingly!

A lovely stay in a very clean hotel. Excellent beds and pillows! The welcome was lovely and the hotels breakfast was ample and of good quality. We loved that the dog was welcome too. Our only comment is that the hotel no longer has an open restaurant, well not in March anyway, and an evening meal was hard to find. Der Krumpel came to our aid and is highly recommended.

This is a hotel located in the middle of Bacharach and in a great location. It's about a 10-minute walk to the train station and a 10-minute walk to the river. The rooms and common areas are very simple and quite dated. It definitely needs a major refresh. That being said, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. We were told there is no elevator (yet we did see an elevator which appeared to be used by staff only) so be prepared for a lot of stairs especially if you are staying on the top floor.

My daughter and I are in midst of a two week whirlwind tour of Germany and we popped into Bacharach for a singe night- the city looked very cute and we had only a single day available in this immediate region (next couple of days in Koblenz for festival). The hotel reviews were positive and we were very happy we chose staying here. The beds were the comfiest we have had in Germany, and the showers had luxurious water pressure ( my daughters fav part!). Rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast featured a delicious variety of foods, and the town itself absolutely charming. We really enjoyed walking about town! There is a train station and KD boat dock/ stop a few hundred yards away if you want to see other areas and use as a base- not certain about stop frequency, it is a small town after all. We found the staff were kind and had no problems with communicating in English (hooray! My German is very poor) side note- We can also recommend the Schnitzel (and Weissbier) at the Kleines Brauhaus, a circus tent biergarten an easy walk north. Terrific! Cheers and safe traveling!

We are so pleased we decided to stay in Bacharach for our visit to the Rhine valley and would definitely choose Hotel Bacharacher Hof again. The rooms are pleasant and the wifi and shower could be improved. But the hotel benefits from a lovely pool and a very nice sun terrace with loungers - a lovely place to relax in the sun. And the breakfast was superb, and the staff so friendly, especially the chef who offered my daughter some delicious vegan options (sorry we don’t know your name).

The historical building is beautiful and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is in the city center of the village of Bacharach, besides the church. The breakfast was great, more kind of a brunch, with excellent pastries. The bedrooms could be renovated and are a bit outdated.
