Just a FYI WE came here by mini bus so didn’t have any way of travelling anywhere once we were here. We didn’t realise that there were no taxis in the area so if you’re coming and wanting to go offsite at all make sure to bring your own transport :)"

"Absolutely wonderful location. Combining character with comfort, this is a real gem. Lovely warm welcome on arrival (for which, Thank You) adds to a general sense of wellness. Great access to the local region and lovely views of the picturesque Axe Valley (which has a special place in my heart). In short, I love this place and will return. And I wouldn’t change a thing about the accommodation. My only regret is that this was a short visit, but Wyke Farm would make a fantastic base for a longer stay to explore the Jurassic Coast (5 miles away) and the this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty."

"We were relieved to arrive at Kate's beautiful farmhouse in the evening, especially on a hot day. The thick stone walls keep it cool inside and it was lovely and homely with brick, beams and rough plaster. Kate was welcoming and our ground floor en-suite double opened onto a stunning garden, overlooking the nature reserve and countryside. We enjoyed a lovely cuppa sat outside and woke up to a lovely breakfast and enjoyed a chat with Kate before setting out back along the coast."

"Fantastic hosts, really good levels of communication. John checked in with me a few days before the trip with confirmation of the booking and clear instructions on checking in, and being able to check in earlier then I'd expected, which was always welcome with the changeable weather during the trip. Really welcoming including providing both milk and biscuits which I wasn't expecting. Well appointed rooms upstairs in the main house which were very clean and comfortable. I went with the self-catering option and had everything I needed in the items in the room. The location is only 10/15 mins away from Charmouth and Lyme Regis and 1 hour away from Paignton by car so if you're driving and staying for a few days, it's really easy to explore a lot of the south coast."
