Das Atrium ist schön, das Hotelzimmer ist klein, aber komfortabel. Die Lage ist hervorragend direkt gegenüber der Kathedrale und es gibt drei ausgezeichnete Restaurants. Das Frühstück im Hotel wurde nicht gegessen, da es in der Nähe bessere Möglichkeiten gibt.

Die Chancen, das Gubba Hotel zu buchen, sind sehr selten. Die Erfahrung mit der Suche nach einem Ausweg in den labyrinthischen Gangwohnen des Hotels ist sehr interessant. Es gibt überall Jahre hinterlassene Marken. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit dem ersten spanischen Standort. Der Kellner hat das Zimmer ohne notwendige Vorschalttür geputzt und ist direkt eingetroffen.

Große Lage, die Stadt vom Hauptblickpunkt zu sehen und einen einfachen Spaziergang in die Stadt. Gute einfache Parkplätze und Zimmer machten genau das, was wir erwartet hatten. Auf der Website Café Snackbar war sehr gut und großartig hilfsbereiter Service. Lokale Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr schönes, hilfreiches Empfangspersonal. Sehr gut für Geld.

Fantastic stay in this hotel. We used it as a base to visit Salamanca and Segovia, as well as Avila itself. The hotel is situated just within the city walls and is an oasis of calm. The room was superb, the staff lovely, and the food was excellent. It has private parking too. Can't recommend it enough.

We parked couple if blocks away in a nice underground parking garage I structure. It's a short walk for these sixty-year-olds, however, it's mostly uphill and cobblestones. The hotel, once the Bishop’s estate next to the cathedral at the center of town, could not be in a better location. The rooms and bathrooms are a generous size, with furniture from the sixties, painted white. If you are looking for an authentic experience and the simple, yet generous accommodations acceptable, it's perfect for the price. We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. We had breakfast in the dining room one morning. It's pretty basic breakfast fare.

We are in room 510, Double Room with Terrace. We booked this room so we could have the doors open for fresh air at night. This room may be on the 5th floor but next door is the hotels aircon units. The fan is very noisey, turns on and off every few minutes, sounds like a car engin. Do not take any notice of their description, you will not get any sleep. The room is very hot, 25°C . We turned the aircon on only to find out the hotel has now changed it to heat only. Room heating was up to 26.5°C before we found out. Had to have the patio doors open all night. There are no restaurants in or near the hotel. The hotel has a cafe but that closes after lunch and reopens at 7pm. Rooms do not have kettle to make a drink Have to go to the tourist old town to eat expensive mediocre food. Positive. Room size good, bed comfortable if only you could sleep, bathroom shower/bath good, breakfast good, hotel clean. Parking tight but ok. Wouldn't stay again.

DA EVITARE La peggiore esperienza mai avuta. Arrivata davanti alla porta dell'ostello alle 20.15, un cartello indicava che la reception avrebbe chiuso alle 19. Ho prenotato su Hopper e come orario limite per il check in erano indicate le 22, ho controllato su booking e dice la stessa cosa. Al primo numero segnato sul cartello non risponde nessuno, al secondo risponde una signora che mi dice che alla domenica chiudono alle sette, che non c'è nessuno e non può farmi aprire da nessuno. Provo a dirle diverse volte che questa cosa non era segnata da nessuna parte quando ho prenotato e nessuno mi ha mandato nessuna comunicazioni a riguardo (la prenotazione l'avevano, i soldi se li sono presi e tenuti, evidentemente pur sapendo che mancava almeno una persona prenotata se ne sono fregati e se ne sono andati senza neppure degnarsi di mandare un whatsapp o una mail). Le ribadisco che ho bisogno che qualcuno per favore mi venga ad aprire altrimenti dovrò dormire per strada, mi risponde che non può farci niente e mi chiude il telefono in faccia. Ho provato il giorno dopo a scrivere per farmi almeno rendere i soldi ma non mi hanno mai risposto. Alla fine per fortuna ho trovato in fretta e furia un altro alloggio. Non immagino cosa sarebbe successo se al mio posto ci fosse stata magari una persona anziana o con bambini piccoli o che non conosceva la lingua.

Das Hotel ist außerhalb der Stadt und nicht nahe dem historischen Zentrum. Zimmer war groß und sauber. Rezeptionenpersonal war nicht freundlich, aber weit von gross. Die Frühstücksoptionen sind etwas begrenzt für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, aber das Essen hat Qualität. Kostenlose Parkplätze in der Straße waren möglich und einfach. In einem Nutshell: Wenn Sie mit dem Auto gehen, kann es eine gute Option für Avila sein, sonst empfehle ich nicht. Ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, aber nicht auf einem höheren Niveau.
