"Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist leider nicht Hiltongerecht. Das Zimmer ist nicht gut gewischt, besonders an den Glasoberflächen sehr gut zu sehen. Im Badezimmer fehlten am zweiten Tag die Handtücher, die nicht nachgelegt wurden. Eine Tür der Dusche wurde wurde scheinbar notdürftig repariert und so für die Ewigkeit belassen. Die Spaangebote sind gut. Aussenpool und Innenpolitik, Sauna, Hamam und Fitnessstudio. Der Aussenpool riecht etwas nach Kloake, obwohl es optisch sauber ist. Im Innenpool war eine Lampe von der Wand gelöst und schwamm am Kabel im Wasser. Auf den Hinweis beim Spa Personal wurde ein Techniker verständigt, jedoch wurde nichts weiter an Sicherheit unternommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr üppig und gut. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel, leider mit Mängeln, die man auf diesem Niveau nicht erwartet."

Ein komfortables großes Zimmer, besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem Wohnzimmer mit Küchenbereich, Schlafzimmer und Dusche. Das Zimmer hat alles - die Gerichte, die für die eigene Küche benötigt werden. Die Gastgeberin ist in Berührung. Gutes Frühstück ab 8:00 Uhr. Salat, Snacks, Eier oder gekochte Eier, Obst. Kaffee oder Tee für die Wahl. Es gibt Zonen, Terrassen, wo Sie sitzen können. In 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß Restaurants, Geschäfte und Souvenir-Shops. Friendly Dogs Sehr angemessener Preis."

"Alles über dieses Hotel ist wunderbar. Ich würde es empfehlen. Die heißen Luftballons sind unglaublich und kommen direkt über den Patio. Die Zimmer sind sehr groben wie und das einzige, was ich nicht mag war, wie feuchte es war im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, sehr hochwertig. Wenn Sie fahren, ist das Fahren zu dem oberen schrecklich, aber fahren Sie einfach weiter. Stopp nicht! Hahaha."

Kann ich jedem nur weiter empfehlen hier unterzukommen. Auf jedes Bedürfnis wird eingegangen und die Besitzer sind super nett!"

"We stayed at the hotel for one night as a group of about 20 people. We knew something was wrong the moment we entered, but we didn't want to spoil our stay, so we remained quiet and observed for a while. From the moment we received our room keys and went to our rooms, everyone understood the severity of the situation. The radiators weren't turned on; we had to turn them on ourselves, and even that wasn't enough to heat the room. The hotel only has 8 rooms in total, and they're supposedly clean. They've installed a sink in the bathroom that's so small you can't even wash your hands, let alone your face. The inside was so rusty you couldn't even see. I don't even want to mention the toilet bowl. The bathroom was practically invisible due to mold. The tile grout was completely covered in mold and green. We went to eat, and they said they had to take us inside because it was raining. The place they called a restaurant was a ridiculous, converted kitchen, and they couldn't even feed a small number of people at once. They said the food came from a catering company, and the food from that company was a complete disaster. They hadn't even set a full table for the meal they were serving to only 10 people at a time. We constantly had to ask for things. I can't deny the woman working in the kitchen her efforts; she tried her best to help, but there's a limit to how much she could do. We had already informed her that the bathroom was dirty, and our group leader had asked her to check it before we left, but she didn't. After all this, I went to my room to sleep. I needed to use a foot towel and found it full of something like black cotton and a ball of hair. Then I saw stains on my duvet cover. Still, I endured it and when I opened the duvet to go to bed, I noticed hairs on the sheet as well, and that's when I got really angry. Almost in the middle of the night, I had to go down to the reception area to complain. When I went down, there were two people sitting there; the cigarette smoke was so thick you couldn't see anything. I explained everything to the gentleman, explaining that I couldn't take it anymore and had come downstairs. To be fair, he came and changed my sheets and duvet cover. After the gentleman left the room, when I adjusted my duvet, I saw another huge hair on it. I had to just say "oh well" and go back to sleep. Breakfast was also prepared in the simplest way. When I reached for green olives, I noticed something black on them, and after examining them for a long time, I saw that they were moldy. When I told the waitress, she said that sometimes the olives are grilled and that's why they're like that, and she picked up the moldy olive and threw it away 🤦♀️ The olives weren't even grilled olives. She's limited in what she can do; she has to put out whatever the owner gives her. Also, seeing the owner's comment, who couldn't tolerate our group leader's criticism, made me feel the need to write this. We're not people who are staying in a hotel for the first time in our lives. And as a former tourism professional, I always appreciate small things."

"Das Hotel liegt nicht in der Stadt Göreme. Die Fahrt mit dem Taxi dauert 8 Minuten bis ins Stadtzentrum und es liegt relativ nahe am Aktivitätsgebiet für Heißluftballons. Das Zimmer war groß, komfortabel und schick und die ganze Familie verbrachte dort drei Nächte lang eine tolle Zeit. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Da das Hotel an einem hohen Hang liegt, fährt der Chef an den Straßenrand. Die Mädchen im Hotel sind sehr süß und sehr zu empfehlen."

"This hotel is with out word the most beautiful hotel ever. The room is a dream. Since you walk in the room you feel you are in another place. The pool was amazing !! Upon arrival our room was decorated with balloons and floating candles. It smell fresh and clean. Every corner of the room was perfectly decorated the touches of the decor was perfectly themed. And to top it off the breakfast was so yummy and beautiful. Thank you terracota hotel the cave room with pool was simply a dream. 😍"
Fairyland Cave Hotel
"TLDR - CONS: unbearable mouldy musty smell due to poor ventilation in the suite room. Inability for management to accept that there was a problem with the room. No sound insulation so can hear conversation of neighbours and dogs barking. PROS: nice location for viewing morning balloons. Stayed here at the king suite room 111 with my wife and two kids for one night before demanding a change of rooms. The ventilation was almost non existent, and the bathtub was set very deep in the room and next to the master bed, which led to a very strong musty smell, so bad that it was difficult to sleep. It was so strong and pervasive that even after an hour or two in the room, de-sensitisation to the smell doesn’t help. The management was dismissive and stated that it’s just the cave smell. I’ve stayed previously at cave rooms and know what is acceptable and what is a health hazard. This was most certainly unacceptable and definitely a health hazard. It was only after complaining separately on two occasions to the owner, and after demanding to either change rooms or I’ll checkout, the management conceded and switched me to a smaller standard non-suite room 108. The bathtub in the room was near the window therefore, there was significantly less musty smell and one could at least sleep. Clearly, not all the rooms have the problem of room 111, although 108 utilised a perfume smell to mask the mustiness. While I appreciate the change in room which at least made it possible to sleep, I was very disappointed by two aspects. Firstly, management’s refusal to concede that there is a problem with the suite I had paid for. And secondly, after changing to a smaller standard room still charged me the full suite room for 3 nights despite the suite not being fit for human stay. It is not about the money, but more the principal of at least accepting responsibility and acknowledging there is a fundamental issue with their hotel room. Ultimately, would not recommend to stay for one’s health. Location is great and fortunately there are many other hotels in the area. Better to stay at a place with a local Cappadocian owner that cares about their guests and the hospitality reputation of the region, rather than this place which is owned by an Ankara man that is appears purely driven by near term profits."
