Wir besuchten Austin nur für das Wochenende. Wir buchten 2 Zimmer mit unseren Freunden und es war wohl die beste Erfahrung je. Das Ding ist so freundlich besonders Sonva. Sie wusste, dass es mein Geburtstag und auch der Geburtstag meiner Freunde war, so dass sie uns VIP behandelt und uns Getränke im Haus angeboten hat. Danke 💜

Die Landschaft ist sehr gut, das Bodenfenster ist sehr zufrieden, besonders am Abend ist das Licht aus dem Fenster sehr empfindlich. Das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, es ist etwas klein, aber die Landschaft ist gut, dies ist nicht wichtig.

Cambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.

Die Innenparkplatzgarage war gefüllt und schmutzig geleuchtet. Es fühlte sich nicht sehr sicher da, so parkten wir im Außenlot wann immer möglich. Keine Begrüßung von der Nachtzeit-Buffetaut, als wir aus dem Abendessen zurückkamen, da sie scheint, vorsätzlich Augenkontakt mit uns zu vermeiden (sie war nicht am Telefon oder beschäftigt mit jemand anderen). Die Betten zerfallen etwas in der Mitte, die Linen waren alt und müde, und der Stuhl in der Ecke sah schlimmer aus als einige, die ich durch die Kurve gestellt habe. Ein alter Leck auf der Decke war schlecht geplastert, und es gab Farben auf dem Tischstuhl, Teppich und Wände. Die Tür zum angrenzenden Zimmer gab nicht genügend Soundproofing, wie ich das Telefonkonvoi unseres Nachbarn laut und klar hörte. Das Pool-Gebiet sah nicht sehr einladend aus, da es keine Schatten oder Bäume gab, um die starke Sonne zu blockieren. Wir wollten in der Stadt Austin bleiben, um sich zu Fuß zu den Dingen zu befinden, so war dies die am wenigsten teuer Option. Aber nicht viel konnte man von dort hingehen, und das Gebiet, in dem es war, war ein wenig skizziert, so dass wir endlich Ubers nehmen, jedenfalls. Wir hatten letzte Nacht in einem Hotel im Arboretum-Bereich reserviert, weil dieser für Freitag Nacht zu einem lächerlich hohen Betrag (Musikfestival in der Stadt) ging und es endlich genauso bequem war, einen Uber von dort (15-20 min) nach der Stadt zu nehmen. Das Hotel war viel schöner und viel billiger. Leben und lernen.

We just returned home from our trip to Austin, TX. We stayed at the Hotel Viata. What a wonderful experience. Everything about the Hotel was top quality. The employees were so kindhearted, professional and efficient. The Hotel was recently renovated into an Italian themed decor which is beautifully designed. The rooms are large suites, with a kitchenette, living room, French doors into the bedroom, a walk-in closet with a dresser, lock box, white robes, slippers, and plenty of room to hang clothes. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower where four people could fit into, double sinks, and a closet with the toilet for privacy. Two large TV’s, a desk, The views are scenic. The Hotel is up on a hill side, away from the traffic, hustle and bustle. Then there is a full Spa section, for massages, body treatments, facials and more, with beautiful spa and soothing music playing, and a lovely scent pumped through the vents. A spectacular pool area and hot tub, with a bar and seating area where you can order food and drinks. Cabana’s if you want privacy and plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The fitness room is very nice as well. There is also a restaurant and bar, that has an outdoor seating area with a fire place, which is very inviting. We didn’t personally eat there, with talking to other guests they all said that the food is really good. The Hotel is so very peaceful, luxurious, quiet and clean. We highly recommend this resort like Hotel, and personally look forward to returning here when we come back to Austin. Thank you for the great hospitality.

The check-in and out was smooth. Our stay is ok, the room is quite small but bed is comfy. The breakfast option was nice but the next day, we woke up a bit late, we joined buffet breakfast at 8:30AM but most of the food were gone and was not replaced. The location is good, near N. Lamar Ave and I-35 which is accesible to Downtown Austin.
