Your cozy getaway awaits in Augusta at this charming lakeside cottage. With 1 bedroom featuring a plush queen bed, it's the perfect retreat for couples or solo guests. Amenities include WiFi, in-window AC in the bedroom + overhead fans in kitchen & living room, full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. A ramp, walk-in shower with grab bars, and a low step into the house make it friendly for people with mobility issues. There is a large deck out front with a table and chairs for outdoor dining, and a smaller deck out back. The yard is fenced and we allow visitors to bring one large dog or two medium/small dogs (not a puppy!) with a refundable deposit—if you have multiple large dogs, please contact us and we'll talk about it. Early risers will be rewarded with pastel sunrises over still waters; night owls can watch the stars reflect in the water from the back deck. Relax in the recliner and listen to the loons calling, golf at the nearby links, walk down by the Kennebec River, visit historic Old Fort Western, go antiquing in Hallowell, or bring your fishing rod and try for bass or pickerel in the pond.
