My wife and I booked this hotel a few months back, based on some good reviews, but we didn’t quite have that same experience… We originally asked for a top floor room, but the guy gave us a lower room. But once we reminded him of that, he changed it. He seemed very nice. We asked for a luggage cart, and he said it must be missing or left on a floor, but we looked on all floors and didn’t see any cart… had to use our small cart in the van. The first room he sent us to had NO pillows, and the floor was not vacuumed. Went back down, (very long hall), with our luggage and got another room. This new room seemed to have the carpet vacuumed but when Jan looked for her dropped ear ring, she had to look under the bed, and it was not vacuumed just under the skirt and also not vacuumed behind the bed, where you stand up against the wall. The carpet has stains. Fairly nice bathroom but the fan in bathroom doesn’t work, and the walls are fairly dirty. But the sink, toilet and shower look recently replaced. Good darkening curtains, but they don’t come completely closed, had to use a clothespin that we had. Their online page says there is a “furnished” kitchen, but it is just 2 burners, full size frig, small microwave and small sink. NO utensils whatsoever, no pan or pot, all cabinets are empty, why even have a stove with nothing to cook with. Also no coffee maker or toaster, nothing. And no breakfast or coffee at front office. There is a nice desk area for laptop, etc, but one of the office chairs were so soiled, that we had a towel on it, before we sat on it. The hallway is also not vacuumed… lots of debris along the hall, and the carpet is very dark from shoe dirt, coming out of the elevator. Heater works well, although the room kept getting warm on its own, so we had to have AC on all night, but no biggy. I heard it was bought by new owners 2 months before, but they could at least vacuum and put a few items in their “furnished” kitchen area. The price is good, but we would not come here again.
