"My husband and I were so impressed with the beauty and history of this hotel which is situated near the famous Cathedral. The setting, decor and ambiance of the hotel are simply wonderful. We loved everything about it! It was so nice to have a glass of wine in one of the gardens before an absolutely delicious dinner in their stunning restaurant. The chef is so talented. Breakfast is served in a different very charming room and has excellent options. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and immaculate. We wish we had more than one night but were so happy we experienced this unique and lovely place. We highly recommend a stay here! You’ll be very glad you did."

"Die Suche nach einem Ort, um ca. 4 Stunden von Calais zu bleiben, stellt einen Kreis um Troyes. Die Aux Maisons ist von der besiegten Spur (zu Ihrer Reisezeit hinzufügen 30 Minuten) und gut im Land. Aber was ein kleines Gem, Zimmer sehr sauber mit sehr komfortablem Bett und bitten um ein Aircon Zimmer. Zimmer kleine, aber ausreichend mit guten En-Suite Einrichtungen (Dusche ohne Bad). Für nur 72 Euro konnten wir auf dem Abendessen, das ausgezeichnet war, mit guten Weinen zu einem vernünftigen Preis sprühen. Personal spricht nicht viel Englisch, aber wir alle konnten uns gegenseitig verstehen. Sehr empfehlen das Restaurant. Unsere Gesamtrechnung war nicht mehr als in einem Chain Hotel zu bleiben und zu essen, aber die Erfahrung viel mehr genießen. Wir werden dort wieder aufhalten."

"What a lovely place to relax, just what I needed after a long day on my motorcycle. It was a shame I hadn't brought my swimwear as a dip in the pool would have been lovely. For me it was just a shame that I had to pay €150 for one night which was almost €50 more than they advertise it for in their reception. If it included breakfast that would have been a fair price but this was an additional €12 per person. Also the WIFI did not work, although this was at the time of crowdstrike outage so will assume that this was the cause, but might be worth checking before you leave if this is important for you."
