It seems the hotel staff is tired and genuinely indifferent to the guests. Upon arrival, I informed the receptionist that I hold Gold Elite status with Marriott, to which the hotel belongs. However, she didn’t even bother linking my reservation to my Marriott account. I’m entitled to a welcome gift, which I never received. The digital key for room access didn’t work because she failed to link my account to the booking. The room lacks basic amenities such as water, and parking costs 10 NIS per day even for guests. There’s no toothpaste, comb, or any other small comforts provided.
It’s important to note that after contacting Marriott’s customer service, the hotel offered a $50 compensation for use within the property.
