Stonehurst Place Bed & Breakfast

This was our second stay at Stonehurst Place. That alone should tell you something. The B&B is located in Midtown Atlanta close to what we want to see and do. Jason and Kris are wonderful host very attuned to meeting your needs. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We have stayed in the Eaves (a little tight, but comfortable) and the Gables (very nice). Breakfast each morning, if selected, is very good. If you are visiting Atlanta and what something different from a hotel, this is an excellent choice. We will be back for another stay next year.

Elegant and comfortable is the perfect way to describe this charming B+B. Jason is a friendly and talented host and chef. Everything was perfect, easy and fun. The location is excellent for exploring all Atlanta has to offer. We were able to get bikes delivered right there and spent a day biking the Beltline, MLK Jr. National Historic Park, and the Jimmy Carter Library and Mueum. Stonehurst was lovely to come home to.

Spectacular B&B in the heart of vibrant Midtown, Atlanta. This historic home is packed full of history and shares all that history with the guests. The attention to detail is amazing from the delicious morning breakfast to elegant room decor. Our room was the Fowler Suite located in the carriage house. A two level accommodation with Old Hollywood decor and a beautiful spa bathroom. Innkeepers Kris and Jason were extremely attentive with providing their guests many amenities and lovely relaxing areas of their home. A definite “Must Stay” in Midtown, Atlanta! Thanks for such a memorable visit.

We already cannot wait to visit Stonehurst Place again. Our stay was phenomenal! Before we even arrived, we got text updates and a helpful guide for checking in, parking directions, and even local restaurants. With the guide, driving and parking was a breeze. Jason greeted us and gave us a tour—if you have time, definitely ask him about the history of Stonehurst! He is amazing! We were immediately in love with the house; it is wonderfully preserved, beautifully decorated, and truly incredible. Each room is unique, and has its own charm. I especially loved the music room and the sleeping porch upstairs. You can tell Jason and Kris adore the house and take excellent care of the entire property! They truly value the guests’ experience, and everything from the kind hospitality to the complimentary snacks in the dining room to the coffee and tea nooks is dedicated to ensuring your stay is the best it can be. We only got to stay one night this time, but we never wanted to leave. We stayed in The Eaves upstairs. Just like the common areas, our room was perfectly clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was comfortable, cozy, and the perfect getaway on our road trip. There was even a brownie waiting for us when we checked in! The bed was amazing—the bedding was soft and clean, and we had a wonderful night’s sleep. The bathroom was spotless, and we even had a towel warmer next to the amazing shower (Jason’s favorite in the place!). We got a lovely view of the city lit up at night, and we were pleasantly surprised at how little noise came through to our room, both from other rooms in the house and from outside. It was so convenient to fill out our selections for breakfast, and Jason made and brought out everything exactly as we chose—and it was delicious! We would love to stay at Stonehurst Place again, and for longer next time, to enjoy more of the house. We really can’t thank Jason enough for making our experience comfortable, relaxing, and delightful. Thank you so much for everything!

This is our favorite place to stay in Atlanta! Over the years we’ve stayed there at least eight times in four of the different rooms! It’s a beautiful setting and very quiet! The new owners Kris and Jason are lovely and have kept the charm in the place. It’s walking distance to a lot of restaurants and even to the Fox Theatre (that is a bit of a walk though, but there are plenty of Ubers nearby).

Our stay exceeded our hopes and expectations in every single way! My husband and I loved the many details: warm welcome when we arrived, gluten free brownies in our room, Alexa who played our choice of music, the available snacks and drinks, the beautiful room and entire home and grounds , and delicious breakfast. We are already planning our return trip!
