Retroverse Hostel

Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, die Umgebung ist sicher und es gibt eine Küche

Location is convenient from Omonia station. good walking distance to acropolis and main center. The front desk staff are friendly and nice. There’s a lift but small flight of stairs up, also with assisted stairclimber. Nice pantry area to gather and make friends, or cook if you want. I booked a private room and while it’s a very huge size, there’s not much in the room. No desk, no hairdryer. The lockers are stacked on top of each other. In theory it’s ok, but what about shorter people? Why would I need lockers for a private room? (I know it’s a hostel yes, but this is a private twin room.) it should have been like a small hanging wardrobe or if the lockers need to be there it should be side by side on the floor. I also didn’t like the toilet is just one massive room. No sections for showering. The water just gets to the toilet bowl side easily. There should at least have been an elevated shower pedestal so water is kept in that area. I understand that this is a hostel, but for private rooms, shouldn’t it feel more like a hotel or Airbnb? Which should have basic things like a hairdryer etc (they don’t). Not very thoughtful when it comes to housekeeping - my toilet roll ran out, and they didn’t replace it. I dropped my towel on the floor to be replaced, it was hung back on the rack. It’s a dirty towel! Overall very disappointing with the light touches of the hotel. I didn’t spend cheap money for this, should have looked around more for what I paid.

Very clean Hostel! Very friendly staff. And not too far from the city centre. 10/10 would recommend

The hostel was new, clean and retro. The Kitchen was awesome and convenient to cook and store food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they had great vibes overall. Really enjoyed the stay with the arcade machines and everything being really new, really enhanced the trip overall after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend the stay at Retroverse Hostel.

첫 도미토리 형태의 숙소였는데, 새로생긴 곳이라 그런지 침구도 좋고 화장실도 깨끗하고 모든것이 깔끔했어요. 다만 해당 숙소가 오모니아역 근처인데.. 오모니아가 현지인 사이에서도 위험지역으로 인지되는 곳이긴 하더군요ㅎㅎ 전 모르고 예약해서 그냥 갔습니다.. (위험한 이유는 마약 거래가 좀 많이 이뤄지고 이주민들이 많이 사는 지역인듯해요) 물론 오모니아의 모든지역이 위험한 건 아니고 해가 떠있을때는 다 안전하고, 밤에 좁은 몇몇 골목만 좀 조심하면 되는거같아요. 큰길 위주로 다니시고 위험한 골목은 다행인건지 모르겠지만 그만큼 경찰도 많습니다 ㅎㅎ
