Am 12. März kam ich nachdem ich aus Europa überfliege. Ich verbrachte den Tag mit Geldwechseln, hatte eine Tour rund um Asuncion, hatte Abendessen, und danach wollte ich nur schlafen. Aber das Schlafen ist ein Nein in diesem Hotel, denn es gibt diese Bar Acuarela oben, wo der Schwimmbad ist. Und sie spielen Musik so ladend, dass die Wände schütteln. Ich ging dort hinauf, um zu beschweren, aber die Musik dort ist so belastet, dass Sie den Finger in Ihre Ohren halten müssen, und niemand versteht Sie oder will Sie trotzdem verstehen. Ich war wirklich, wirklich müde, aber die Bassen waren zu laut. Ich versuchte, zu entspannen, aber wie kann man sich mit Bassen entspannen, die schnelle Herzschlage nachgebildet. Ich hoffte, die Musik würde bei 12.00 o Uhr stoppen, aber es war nicht. Dann hoffte ich, es würde bei 1.00 o Uhr stoppen, aber es war nicht. Dann hoffte ich, es würde um 3 Uhr aufhören, aber die Musik ging weiter und weiter noch harter als zuvor. Der Diskockey ist wahrscheinlich dumm. Um 5 Uhr habe ich endlich Hoffnung aufgegeben und aufgestanden, als ich das Hotel um 8 Uhr trotzdem verlassen musste. Schließlich ging ich nach unten zum Frühstück, wo die nächste Enttäuschung wartete auf mich: Kein Frühstücksbuffet überhaupt, aber nur ein Warteschrank, Sie müssen warten. Schließlich findet er die Zeit, Sie zu fragen, welche Art Kaffee Sie wollen. Und dann müssen Sie noch einmal warten, und alles, was Sie erhalten, ist ein sehr kleines Frühstück ( 1 kleines Kreuzer, 1 Stück Käse, 1 Stück Hanf, Jam und Ihren Kaffee). Schlussfolgerung: Gehen Sie irgendwo anders, wenn Sie einen guten Nachtslafen genießen wollen. Vermeiden Sie dieses Hotel, da es kein Hotel ist, sondern eine Diskothek.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is clean, tidy, well located and friendly staff. We had a twin room, which was of a good size. No slippers or bathrobes provided, you do have a kettle with a few teabags and one coffee pad (not sure why just one for two people). Small fridge and good working airco. Only negative was the sliding door to the toilet/shower, really hard to open from the toilet side. Rooftop pool had great views, nice bar for evening cocktails and a decent bar menu. Breakfast on the ground floor non exciting, very standard corporate hotel breakfast. Staff everywhere friendly and helpful. Reception can provide you with a map of Asuncion. We used Uber to get around, which worked fine Next to the hotel is Del Sol, a western shopping mall - airco and more restaurants

Our stay at Sheraton started on the wrong foot although it might not have been the hotel’s fault. My Marriott Suite Night Award request was approved but when we arrived at the hotel we were told that suites were fully booked and they had no idea why my SNAs went through. So we stayed in a club room for the first night but were moved to the presidential suite on the second night and which was highly appreciated. The first room was an old generation Sheraton room: rough carpet, shower in tub, subpar soundproofing, toiletries were unbranded local stuff, also the bathroom door did not close properly and there was no lock. One positive was that the bed was unmistakably a Sheraton bed = comfortable. The presidential suite was equivalent to 4 normal rooms in terms of size according to the floor plan. It was still a fairly aging room but with the extra space it was very useful to us including our 18-month daughter who was very happy and could run around. Service was quite good during our stay with various staff members addressing us by name which is not that common at a hotel of Sheraton level which is not supposed to be considered luxury like Ritz Carlton or St.Regis. One manager was quite visible during our stay, she welcomed us at check-in, she was greeting guests in the restaurant for breakfast in the morning, same during happy hour in the lounge, and she also stopped by before our departure when we checked out. I also received an e-mail after our stay to inform us that they found one item in the room and asked if we wanted to send someone to pick it up. Most hotels don’t even bother with a “lost and found” service so kudos to Sheraton Asuncion. Regarding dining, happy hour in the lounge and breakfast in the restaurant were above average, and the in-room dining menu and prices were quite good relative to what we could find in the city including in the large shopping mall next door. I also noted that wifi was blazing fast at 350+ Mbps, one of the best I have seen anywhere in the world – not the kind of hotel where I would have guessed this to be the case. Overall this is not a new and modern hotel but when judging a hotel I always compare to the local competition. The other choices I noticed are an Aloft, an Ibis, a Holiday Inn Express, and a Crowne Plaza. Except for the latter I don’t think there are any other international hotel chains remotely close to the level of Sheraton and given the good service and dining, as Marriott Bonvoy Elite I would return to Sheraton.

Die Lage ist im Stadtzentrum und das Reisen ist sehr praktisch. Der Hotelservice ist sehr gut, das Frühstück ist auch abwechslungsreich, der Preis ist gut, es ist die erste Wahl für Reisen. Es gibt viele Einkaufszentren und Restaurants in der Nähe, die das Essen erleichtern.

I stayed for 2 nights with check in July 8, 2023 and I am very pleased! Welcomed by the friendly staff and after receiving the amenities as a Platinum Ambassador member I was surprised by what this property has to offer: the Business Center featuring a Mac Pc desktop computer and a tasty snack near the evening time, which includes coffee. Nice addendum as it makes the stay even more enjoyable. Reservations department handles very well the advance purchase reservation and this establishment has a appealing swimming pool that I guess becomes so refreshing in summer time. I will certainly come back for my next trip to the lovely Asuncion!

O Hotel é antigo mais super imponente,lindo quartos grandes ,excelente serviço,staf gentil,café da manhã excelente.Valeu a visita adoramos.Na frente tem um shopping pequeno onde jantamos ontem,estavamos cansados porque vamos p o Chile hoje.

Ich habe zwei Nächte für meine Frau und ich und ihr Bruder mit seiner Frau und zwei Jugendkinder gebucht. Das war das ”Hotel” in den 60er Jahren und nichts scheint sich viel verändert zu haben. Das Zimmerkühlschrank war kaum kühl und keine Preise auf dem Kühlschrank geschrieben. Die Zimmer sind seltsam gestaltet und die Aussicht war durch große Außenschalter, die für die intensive benötigt werden Sonnenlicht. Klimaanlage war gut, wenn Haushalter es für mich gesetzt! Fernseher ausreichend. Bad mit schönen Toiletten. Zimmer war spotless, aber datiert. Bett war komfortabel. Der Pool im dritten Stock ist sehr groß, unheilig, aber gefährlich. Alles pre ADA nicht vorhanden. Wasser war sauber. Jeder hatte eine tolle Zeit. Es gab auch eine sehr große Menge von Deckstühlen und eine große Aussicht auf den Park. Dieses Hotel ist c die beste Lage in der Innenstadt von Asuncion. Essservice verfügbar Poolside zu vertretbaren Preisen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut mit viel frisches Obst. Ich bestellte frische Eier und wurde jeweils etwa 50 Cent geladen! Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Unser 13-jähriger Neffe war im Himmel, weil Fußballteams auch hier bleiben. Untergrundparkplatz war eine Erfahrung. Wir werden hier auf unserer Rückreise nach Paraguay andjoy die Pool Wetter erlaubt.

The Palmaroga Hotel is my favorite hotel in downtown Asuncion. The historic building has been beautifully restored, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, the rooftop terrace with its poo and view is wonderful, and most importantly the staff are exceptional. The people who work at reception and at the door are always ready to greet guests warmly and to provide friendly and authentic service. The hotel has a good restaurant on site, a steakhouse next door, and is walking distance from many other excellent dining options. Within walking distance to all major points of interest in the downtown area. 10 puntos!
