We specifically booked at this hotel for the Spa and Swimming Pool facilities to revive our weary bodies as we were hiking and cycling the Camino Del Norte . After check in we were advised that the Spa is closed and the swimming pool only opens on 1 June. This was not mentioned on their website or on ***********. The receptionist was unwelcoming and didn't bother to greet us. When we asked for a cup of hot water, the man that delivered it to our room almost broke the door down and was very rude to us. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is adjacent to an industrial area and we experienced noises throughout the night. The bed was terribly hard and I rolled around all night. You would be far better off to travel an extra 20 km and stay in Tapia de Casariego on the beach.

We absolutely loved this hotel decided to stay there at last minute because it’s only about a 15 minute drive from Asturias airport . It’s in a beautiful peaceful setting with fabulous views and lovely garden . Staff at reception so friendly and helpful . Hotel is very Spanish in style with a very comfortable feel. Public areas furnished in traditional style really comfortable. Rooms very spacious, large bed ,fabulous large bathroom really well equipped. We had dinner which was great value and really good at €30 each which included a lovely bottle of Rioja . There is a Spa here too which unfortunately we didn’t have time to sample . The hotel would be a great base for touring all the towns , villages and beaches in the region . Cudillero only about 20 mins drive , Saint Esteban about 10 mins drive . Our only regret was that we would have loved to stay for a week . We’ll definitely be back !!

Ein fabulöses Gebäude, das von der Hand Gottes durch die Stadthalle verlassen wird. Sie genießen hervorragende Zimmer, Aussichten (wenn es kein Schoß) gut - je nach Zimmer. Ich verstehe, dass die Lage nicht zentral ist, aber Oviedo ist keine große Stadt, und in kurzer Zeit sind Sie überall, auf Fuß. Es ist bedauerlich, dass das Gebäude nicht zu einem touristischen Ziel verwandelt wurde (Frankreich oder Italien würde es in die Leitungen setzen), so dass es in Isolation verschwunden ist. Wir wissen bereits, dass Calatrava keine Arbeit ohne Zorn beendet, und das Versprechen, dass die Decke bewegt werden würde, wurde nicht erfüllt. Aber das Gebäude ist spektakulär. Die Nebenseite, ohne ein Restaurant in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie, zwingt Sie, Pläne von ihm zu machen. Menschen, Zimmer, Reinigkeit. Gute Aufzüge sollten verbessert werden, Bootlenecks passieren. Ort, nicht zentriert, aber Sie können in 10' zu der Innenstadt gehen.

Whilst lovely, this is barely a hotel, and certainly not five stars. It is a conference and wedding venue that seems to try and sell its rooms to private guests during the week. While the staff are delightful and very helpful, and the venue is beautiful, the facilities and service are very limited. There is no pool or spa (despite these being pictured on all the holiday websites we looked at). Although the staff did say they'd taken the spa photos down on their own website, this was not made clear at the time of booking. During the week there is an extremely limited menu of just five basic items available to eat (lunch and dinner) - and as the hotel is a good 15min drive from the nearest town, this was a serious issue. The room (we had a junior suite) was absolutely beautiful but again, clearly a wedding venue rather than a hotel - no room service, and very few amenities - although the surrounding park and walks are lovely. We came here for a quiet and romantic holiday away without our children and to be fair, we achieved that. However, I would warn anyone who thinks that this is a ”hotel” to beware - it is not, it is a very charming conference centre and certainly every day we were there, they had a big event and we felt very much in the way. We ended up staying elsewhere for the last two nights of our stay, as there are far nicer places in the area - something the Castillo did not seem surprised by and did not ask us why we were staying elsewhere or if anything was wrong. When we finally checked out, despite having paid in advance, the (again charming) lady at reception had no idea that we'd already paid, and there was confusion over whether we had to pay again. We left with not a good taste, and sadly - although we have nothing bad to say about the staff or the location, both of which are very nice - we would not come back. However, other people seem to have had a lovely time here so perhaps it depends what you are looking for, and what your standards are. Final word though: cannot fault the staff, all of whom were courteous, charming, spoke perfect English, and were very patient and polite.

Unser Zimmer im ersten Stock hatte wenig Beleuchtung und nahezu die Luft durch das Fenster. Es war sehr heiß in der Nacht, und die Luft funktionierte nicht gut und es war schrecklich, zwischen der Wärme und der Feuchtigkeit zu schlafen. Das Hotelpersonal von 10!!! Und das Frühstücksbuffet war alles sehr gut und viele Dinge zu wählen. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, weil es oben ein ruhiges Gebiet ist. Ich würde es wiederholen! 👌

Hemos estado alojados de sábado a domingo. En la habitación sólo estuvimos a la hora de ir a dormir sobre la 1.30 de la mañana, momento en el que percibimos un fuerte olor a tabaco que provenía tanto de almohadas como de sábanas, así como una mancha de ceniza en la sábana bajera. Por la mañana le comunico el problema a la chica de recepción, que me dice que tendríamos que haber dicho algo a la 1.30 de la mañana y se nos habría cambiado de habitación, a lo que yo contesté que desconocía que eso se podía hacer a esas horas intempestivas. Al lo haber ningún responsable la única solución es no cobrar el parking, y me dicen que si mando la foto de la sábana alguien se pondrá en contacto conmigo para darme una solución a mayores. Nadie se pone en contacto y vuelvo a insistir y la respuesta que se me da por parte de gerencia es que no hay solución que dar ya. Hemos pagado por una habitación que no estaba en condiciones. Vaya servicio de limpieza. Y vaya forma de dejar contentos a los clientes. Ya sé a dónde no volveremos cuando vayamos a Oviedo. Tampoco al sercotel ciudad de Oviedo, que es lo mismo.

HOTEL MUY CERCA DEL CENTRO, CAMAS ENORMES Y COMODAS, HABITACIONES DE TAMAÑO CORRECTO, POR PONER UNA PEGA LAS VENTANAS DE LA HABITACION NO SE PODIAN ABRIR POR QUE HAY UNA AVENIDA CON MUCHA CIRCULACION Y ENTIENDO SERIA POR LA POLUCION DE LOS VEHICULOS, DESAYUNO VARIADO, SUFICIENTE Y BUENO, LIMPIEZA, TRANQUILIDAD. PARA VOLVER.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, nahe der Spaziergang und gleichzeitig zurückgezogen. Wir sind sehr froh über die Art und Weise, wie sie uns behandelt haben, vor allem Victor im Restaurantzimmer, die sehr ausserhalb und Detail die Celiaquia meines Sohnes. Dies sind die Details, die das Firmenbild eines Hotels markieren und verleihen. Mit Menschen wie Victor werden große Erinnerungen gebaut. Vielen Dank für den ganzen Begoña Park, bis zum nächsten

Hotel céntrico y cómodo, cercano al puente romano, en la plaza del pueblo, junto al Ayuntamiento. En la trasera hay un parking grande pero es de pago hasta el sábado al mediodía, aunque hay zonas cercanas para aparcar gratuitamente. El personal de recepción es agradable. La habitación muy amplia y decorada con gusto, parece renovada, un baño grande con ducha y bañera gigante. Las almohadas son cómodas y la cama grande pero en el centro había cómo una diferencia de altura, es posible que lo formaran 2 colchones de diferente grosor o 2 somieres con el ajuste de las patas diferentes. También dispone de un sofá que se convierte en cama. Las persianas tienen tecla de subida y bajada automática. Tv grande con muchos canales. En el baño, en la zona de espejos hay poca iluminación y es escasa para maquill**** o ver con nitidez la cara.... El desayuno variado con fruta, yogures, cafés e infusiones, zumo y bollería industrial pero sabroso y embutido. No hay huevos, ni bacon ni similar, pero está bien y es suficiente para salir desayunado del hotel. Si vuelvo por la zona repetiré. El hotel dispone de bar y restaurante, que tiene buena pinta, con terraza, y se ve frecuentado por los lugareños.
