Five Stars but not perfect. I stayed in a “residence” suite for one night during Christmas 2024. The room incredibly comfortable compared to the condo I had been renting—impeccably clean, and I fell asleep easily beneath the delicious pressed sheets with tons of pillows…the rooms included a dining room, small living/tv room kitchen, master bedroom and a smaller bedroom…a generous master bath with steam shower and big tub…the wall between the tub and master opened up easily so i could speak with my spouse during a long-hot bath which was very nice…unfortunately they stocked the bath with very few towels. The phone in the master bedroom did not work. I found the menu for the climate control impossible to navigate, guest-services was overwhelmed with requests over the busy holiday. And they were unable to find me a fan. One odd thing is that the hotel is built into the mountainside, so although i took an elevator to the third floor, my room was still on ground level. The bedroom windows are actually doors—which is cool because you can enter and exit the hotel without entering the lobby but might be odd for some to open a window and have passers-by on the street staring into your bedroom (this was not much different than the condo i had been staying at). Anyway, it was nice to have a door instead of a window because it allowed for much more air flow. The room service menu was somewhat limited but pretty great by Colorado standards though not as fresh and deliscious as you would expect in NY…

We just wrapped up a long weekend here during mud season. We had issue with the heat in our room which the staff quickly tried address and ended up moving up to the Roch suite. It was very generous and unexpected. From the time we arrived until we left the hospitality was top notch. The suite was fanastic and loved the fireplaces and balcony. The bed was a Bryte ‘smart’ which had variable firmess and interesting, soft rolling motion feature. Very comfortable ! Mini bar was stocked and all non- alcoholic beverages were complimentary. You can arrange for free airport transport. We ate Element 47 for breakfast (vegetable scramble was soooo good) and Ajax Tavern. Both were good. There is 24 room service, but the late night menu is light but nice to have the option. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, including the Rubey Transit location where you can catch a clean and free bus to Aspen Highlands Plaza to get the Maroon Bells shuttle. This hotel may not have the unique, location specific vibe of the Hotel Jerome ( our second choice and I recommend the J -Bar there), but we really wanted a fireplace and balcony and we loved our stay at the Little Nell. Ich blieb hier wegen seiner Lage neben dem Aspen-Berg. Ich wollte einen Ski in / aus Skiplatz. Meine Erfahrung war fantastisch. Mein Flug nach dem Flughafen Aspen wurde verzögert. Ich habe den Hotelkonzern kontaktiert, um sie zu informieren, und sie sagten, dass sie meinen Flug verfolgen würde, um jemand da zu haben, mich zu holen, wenn mein Flug angelandet. Sam wartete auf mich mit einem Lächeln und war sehr freundlich. Leider hat mein Gepäck nicht auf meinem Flug gemacht und erst am nächsten Tag angekommen. Jason am Frontdesk war sehr hilfreich, mich so viele Toiletten zu bekommen, wie sie mir die Nacht helfen mussten. Am nächsten Tag brad nahm mich zurück zum Flughafen, um meine Gepäck zu holen. Mein Hauptgrund für meine Reise war Skifahren. Die Ski-Concierge-Gruppe war großartig. Sie wandten mich zum Mietgeschäft, um meine Skis, Boots und Pollen zu bekommen und brachten sie sogar für mich zurück in die Residenz. Jeden Morgen greift sie mich durch den Namen und halfen mir sogar, auf meine vorwärmten Boots zu setzen. Sie lieferten sogar Snacks und Sonnenschirm. Sie sind nur wenige Yards außerhalb der Residenztür und haben Ihre Skis auf Ihrem privaten Rack, der nur wenige Füße vom Schnee entfernt liegt. Sie konnten mir auch mein Fahrkarte liefern. Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Frühstück am Morgen wurde im Besitzerlounge angeboten und war ausgezeichnet. Sie hatten Kaffee und warme Schokolade über den ganzen Tag zur Verfügung. Der Fitnessraum war groß und hatte alles, was Sie wünschen konnten. Der beheizte Pool und der heiße Rohr auf dem Dach hatte einen erstaunlichen Blick. Mein Flug ging erst um 17:00 Uhr, und sie waren sehr freundlich genug, mich bis 1:00 Uhr zu lassen, bevor ich auschecken musste. Große Erfahrung. Ich würde sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben.

Als Ausgangspunkt einer Campingexpedition fliegen wir nur eine Nacht nach Aspen und wussten, dass wir weniger als 12 Stunden bleiben würden. Ich habe in den teuersten Hotels in Aspen geblieben, aber ich fand es wirklich schwer zu rechtfertigen, auf irgendeiner von ihnen zu bleiben, die kosten auf $600 pro Nacht, da wir dort für eine so kurze Zeit waren. Nach viel Forschung, ich reservierte bei St Moritz. Mein einziger Bedauern ist nicht früher in diesem Hotel zu bleiben! Wir waren im Zimmer mit einem eigenem Bad, es war sauber und modern mit Toiletten ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig. Das Bett war komfortabel. Es gibt Wanderwege direkt außerhalb des Parkplatzes. Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war spektakulär. Ich schlief sehr gut. Tom, der Gastgeber ist so großartig! Er gab uns eine Karte und einige Wanderwege Empfehlungen, als wir angemeldet wurden. Am nächsten Morgen gingen wir um 7 Uhr zu Maroon Bells und waren nicht ganz vor 10 Uhr, was die checkoutzeit war. Ich rief das Hotel frank und Tom war so untergebracht, sagte mir, nicht zu besorgen, dass ich wieder auf die Checkout-Schnell. Mein Mann und ich waren so froh über die Entdeckung dieses kleinen Geschirrs und wir planen sicherlich, für einen längeren Aufenthalt zurückzukehren!!!
