"Wir werden hier nicht zurückkommen. Der Aufzug war gebrochen, was bedeutet, zu Fuß mit dem Gepäck zum 2. Stock. Das Zimmer hatte keine Glass zu trinken, müde, schauendes Badezimmer, und fast keine Toilettenrolle/Gewebe bedeutet einen Spaziergang nach den 2 Treppen, um mehr innerhalb einer Stunde der Ankunft zu bekommen. Wir beschlossen, nicht mit dem Essen dort zu stören. Es ist ok und funktionell und nicht teuer, aber alle anderen Premier Inns, die wir besucht haben, haben besser gewesen."

"The room was bigger than expected and had a patio to sit out on, the bed was comfy and everything is situated a short walk from the mews rooms. I did notice the bathroom was a bit dirty and the hot water for the shower went completely this morning. The maintenance man had to come out and fix the boiler to rectify the issue. The location is absolutely stunning and the gardens are well kept. It is really a beautiful part of the UK and the main manor building is lovely. The gardenia restaurant is closed a few days of the week for dinner and also breakfast which I didn’t think was ideal. So we had to go outside to eat dinner as the spa restaurant wasn’t really what I was looking for, for a nice evening meal. For breakfast we had to go to the sage spa restaurant which had a very limited selection of food. There were about 6 dishes to choose from, they said The chef doesn’t cook scrambled egg which is a breakfast essential so I basically had to have a plate of toast. As there was nothing that I wanted on the menu and I was told the smoothie machine was broken so I couldn’t even opt for that instead. This happened straight after the hot water had gone so was a bit of a dampener. I came to the hotel a few years ago when you didn’t have to pay for the spa access but now you do which is a bit annoying. Especially as you can only visit during breakfast or dinner hours even with the £20 surcharge. So then you have to either eat very late at night or have a late lunch otherwise the £20 won’t be well spent and you’d have to leave the spa after an hour"

"The hotel was red hot and no air conditioning which cannot be helped during a heatwave. The corridors are worn and tired. The pillows are so flat and only 2 per double bed. Very noisy outside on the retail park with boy racers revving engines past 1am and doing donuts in the car park. The crockery and cutlery at breakfast was all filthy I had to go 8 plates down to find one that was the closest I could find to clean. Perhaps dishwasher not working properly. Premier inn breakfast at similar price is way better quality than this. Great location for euro tunnel though."
