"Am ersten Tag meiner Reise nach Schottland habe ich das Arrochar Hotel A Bespoke reserviert. Das Hotel ist alt, aber sauber. Da es alt ist, wird es Geräusche geben, wenn Menschen gehen oder reden. So ist es üblich. Das Hotel hat einen traditionellen alten schottischen Stil. Das Front Desk Personal ist freundlich Das Zimmer für alleinreisende ist groß genug. Toilette ist gut gepflegt und sauber"

"It is a medieval castle-style hotel with a sense of age. There is a kind white-haired British old man sitting in front of the service desk, working seriously. It feels like he has returned to decades ago, which is very artistic. In front of the hotel is Loch Lomond, with beautiful scenery."

"Ein schönes Hotel. Das Zimmer war ein wenig klein, aber ok. Es war warm genug, aber ein bisschen kalt früh am Morgen, als die Heizung in der Nacht austritt. Musik aus der Live-Band in der Bar wird leicht von dem Zimmer gehört. Leider waren der Aufzug und die Heißräder beide nicht arbeiten. Hoffentlich durch die besetzte Sommerzeit repariert"

"Beautiful location,luxurious accommodation and wonderful staff, we had 3 lodges for a family birthday and everything was amazing from start to finish, Garry and his team are amazing there if you need them and leave you to enjoy your stay. The grounds and the hot tubs are fantastic and there’s a barbecue hut and gym, try the hotel next door (about a 5 minute stroll along the waterfront) the food is great, wether you want to relax or try some water sports or explore the area this is a top quality base. We’re already thinking about going back 👍"

The Caledonian Claymore Hotel ★★★

"We stayed at this hotel during a 4 day Caledonian Coach Trip. The hotel itself is undergoing upgrade with apparently £900,000 being spent on it but it still has a long way to go. Our room was on the ground floor and supposed to be a twin but it should have been a single as it was tiny. The room was dusty and the teaspoon was rusty as shown in photos. The bed wasnt comfortable and we could feel the springs in the mattress. We couldn't be moved as we were both disabled and no lift in the hotel. The water in the shower was only lukewarm also all the times we tried to use it. The piano lounge and bar were nice and comfortable with plenty of stuff to do but take note the 4 free drinks vouchers per day are very limited. It was good too see all the staff were British and friendly, Caledonian should be commended for this. The dining room looked newly built but the window we sat next to was leaking and a soaking wet towel lay there the whole 4 days we were there. Dinner was very regimented as we had to sit where they told us to and not with the rest of our coach party. The food was nice but presented in a 5 star way which doesnt fit in with a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was a buffet which is what dinner should be as table service just isn't fitting for a 3 star hotel. Overall we wouldn't stay here again. It still needs a lot of work done to bring it up to standard and needs a thorough deep clean."
