Mirabel CityCenter Hotel

El Hotel está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la plaza puedes ir caminando a los alrededores. Pero por el mismo motivo no cuenta con estacionamiento ni tampoco es posible hacerlo en lugares cercanos ya que las calles se encuentran cerradas o llenas de autos, lo que lo hace un problema especialmente al arribo o salida con todo el equipaje. La atención del personal estuvo bien, también el desayuno que es variado y al ser buffet puedes comer todo lo que desees. Lo que podrían mejorar es el lugar para el desayuno ya que es lindo pero muy pequeño. El hall es bello y amplio pero a las habitaciones les hace falta una renovación.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Und das Bad noch kleiner, so dass man mit ein paar Kilos nicht einmal mehr baden kann. Die Dusche ist winzig und hat nicht einmal ein Glas, sondern einen Vorhang, der an Ihnen klebt, und Sie hassen es wirklich, ein Bad zu nehmen. Der ganze Raum hat nur eine Steckdose zum Aufladen und die am Eingang des Raumes, was überhaupt nicht praktisch ist. Der Balkon ist auch winzig, ohne einen Tisch oder etwas, auf dem Sie Ihren Badeanzug ausbreiten können. Die Möbel stammen aus dem letzten Jahrhundert, mit den klassischen unbequemen zwei zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, während wir ein Doppelbett gewünscht hatten. Natürlich würde ich es niemandem empfehlen. Das einzig Positive ist das Personal, das wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit ist, und die Lage direkt im Zentrum von Argostoli.

Auf der positiven Seite der zentrale Punkt, die Höflichkeit des gesamten Personals und die Sauberkeit. Auf der negativen Seite die zu enge Dusche und die Dekoration der Zimmer, die in einigen Bereichen (Bad, Möbel) renoviert werden müssen.

This is a wonderful family run hotel. It is well located for the centre of Argostoli, with easy access to the harbour and ferries to Lixouri. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with the Jet2 rep dropping in frequently to answer any questions. There is a very good buffet continental breakfast with something for all tastes.

Good hotel at corner of Plateia Valliano Square in Argostoli. As a solo traveller, on my first visit to Kefalonia, l wanted a central hotel for a base for touring the island. Hotel Mirabel could not be more central. A few minutes walk to the ferry port and shops. About half a mile walk to the central bus station. The Mirabel staff are excellent and helpful A BIG thank you to Rosa who so kindly and attentively looks after her guests in the dining room. The breakfast is amazing, the variety and choice of breakfast is outstanding. I have stayed at many hotels in Greece but Rosa’s delicious fresh breakfasts beats them all. Thank you Rosa & team 🙂 Have had such a lovely holiday here in Kefalonia, thanks to all the Mirabel staff x

Hotel is centrally located just at the squaire all the restaurant close by, a few meters walk your at tge harbour, Staff are welcoming and helpful, Breakfast is the best ,Rosa look after us making sure we are fed well. Our room was always cleaned and tidy , we were put at Rm 452 you got the balcony and view. Thank you to the manager who let us stay an extra hours in our room before departure. A great stay.

Thank you so much to all the lovely staff who helped me to have such an enjoyable holiday at this hotel. I fully agree with all the positive comments already made by other reviewers and I would definitely return to the Mirabel if I was to stay in Argostoli again. Special mention needs to be made of the fabulous shower with plenty of hot water, not always the case in some accommodation. Lastly, a big thank you to Rosa for her cheery welcome every morning and for the delicious breakfasts she provided.

The Mirabelle City Centre hotel is the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. This review should be short because there is not a thing to complain about. The reception desk, usually manned by Tasos is welcoming and efficient. As an extra, Tasos will teach you some Greek if you ask. I found out that we share a common interest, so we had plenty to chat about. The room has all you could need, bed linen and towels changed very frequently. Robes and slippers were provided. The aircon worked flawlessly and a safe was provided, both for no extra charge. The balcony was good for listening to the crickets in the trees. They chirp for 11 minutes then stop for about 8. (Yes, I do need to get out more.) I wondered what the collective pronoun for crickets was and decided it must be a team!......Oh how boring, Google says an orchestra of crickets. Location is spot on for eateries and cafes and the boats and ferry are only a few minutes away. So that is my short review....except for breakfast. Rosa is the Queen of the Kitchen. There is so much choice. You could stay for a couple of months and not eat the same thing twice. The cakes and pies are all homemade by Rosa and so enjoyable. At the end of breakfast, she starts cooking tomorrows offerings, she never seems to stop. Thank you Rosa. The Hotel wouldn't be the same without her and Tasos. Go stay, you won't be disappointed. We loved it.

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff and in a great location. Modern reception area and bathrooms. The hotel is in the main square with restaurants and bars, but never noisy through the night. Short walk from the port too for small tavernas to eat at overlooking the boats. The hotel breakfast was the highlight of my day, there was so much great choice. My bed was uncomfortable but we were only there for 3 nights so it didn't really matter.
