Decided to stay in a small town park way to and from Adelaide, one night each way. The facilities are spotless, camp kitchen has everything provided including cutlery, tea towels, showers had rubber mats and complimentary bath mat. Travelled with daughter and her family, grandkids loved the pool and trampoline. Office open until 7pm also, staff willing to help with anything to ensure stay is enjoyable. And priced exceptionally well. Will definitely remember this park when the need arises.

We stayed here for one night, having driven from Melbourne en route to the Silo Art Trail. Located (in common with much other Stawell accommodation) on the Western Highway, it suffers a little from the ongoing road noise, as trucks thunder between Adelaide and Melbourne. That said, check-in was quick and the room was reasonably spacious and well-equipped. The wi-fi was decent, and it was good to have a table and a couple of chairs outside, from which to enjoy the late afternoon sun. There was a barbeque and picnic seating for guest use, though we weren’t that ambitious. The price was fair and sleep - despite the efforts of the trucking industry - was OK. Double-glazing wouldn’t go amiss, mind you.

The caveat is that there is a new owner that just took over one week prior so this is mostly for the previous owner, however the new owner didn't seemed to worried about my feed back and issues with his place. Price wise this accommodation was mid level. I stayed in their 1 bedroom cabin due to needing full kitchen facilities for my daughter and myself. It was quite an old build however the main reason i've rated it so low was that the cleanliness was nowhere close to where it should have been. The first cabin had a bad odour which smelt like a mouse had died. The new owner didn't care when i told him about it, i had to suggest changing cabins and luckily he had a spare cabin to move us into. The carpet desperately needed a good steam clean and for some reason there was an ant problem as well. In the evening with all the doors and windows shut, hundreds of little bugs still managed to get into the place. The oven was only half size but luckily just fit a small roast into it. The 2 cook top elements could only be used singularly due to being small. There is no phone signal there and their wifi was only good enough to browse very slowly with considering there were only about a quarter of the accommodations booked. There isn't anywhere it says that the wood heater has been boarded in but they do have a reverse cycle a/c instead. I would not book here again and take my chances else where.

Wir buchen das bei der Ankunft in Halls Gap, da es nicht viel verfügbar am Wochenende in der Gegend. Fotos sahen ok (Spa-Raum). Es war offensichtlich sehr groß vor etwa 40 Jahren - wir dachten, die Bodens sahen schön an der Ankunft. Die Rezeption und das Restaurant aber sah sehr runter. Wir parkierten und wurden von 2 leeren Stuben und einem Aschenrauschen voll von Stühlen vor unserem Zimmer begrüßt!! Beim Öffnen der Tür war es offensichtlich, dass Raucher entweder während des Zimmers blieben oder die Reinigungspersonal rauchen - es stinkt von Rauch. Das Zimmer war sehr alt (das Badezimmer zeigte es spritzhaft). Hals Gap wurde gebucht, oder wir hätten unser Geld zurück gefragt und woanders hingehen, da ich nicht gut Rauchzimmer oder Schabranntheit tolerieren.

Wir waren sehr herzlich willkommen von Jurek und Grevillea Cottage war gut bestellt - gut gespeicherte Küchen-Küchenware und -geräte, Ladung von Holz und Kleidung für die Coonara, schöne heiße Dusche und großartige WiFi! . Kinder genossen das Basketballhof und Fahrräder kostenlos zu mieten. Haben einen Dad emu und seine 5 Teen-emus wandern direkt über unsere Vordertür. Fünf Minuten Fahrt in Halls Gap und ein schönes Hotel direkt über die Straße zum Abendessen. Sehen Sie sich freuen, bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Gap wieder hier zu bleiben.
