We were in the three bedroom house. At around $3,000.00 for the seven days we expected everything to be well maintained.. First impression was adverage. Pot plants were dead. Pond was full of green algae and stagnant water. The house was hot and the one small airconditioner in the lounge was inadequate. We complained, to be told, it has never done the job (???) Fridge was warm. Complained and after removing the bulk of our drinks back into our own eskies and leaving it shut, it was tested to be 6.8. We were told that, that temp was acceptable and it would be ok if we didn't keep opening the door. (???) Tried to have a Pizza night. Pizza oven didn’t get high enough. Maximum was 240. Complained but nothing happened. Had to cook the pizza's inside in oven, making the house even hotter. At time of booking I read in brocher and recieved confirmation over the phone, that with a seven day booking, on the third day there would be a 'full complimentary service.' After reminding the owners of this - asking for the sheets to be changed- I was rudely informed, 'We are not a hotel!' Reluctantly they agreed to change two beds of the 4 ??? On booking, we imagined views of the vines. However our main view was the rear of the winery service area (tables, chairs etc.) and a grass area and fenced in dam surrounded by barren area with goats. Service vehicles were constantly passing front of house creating noise and dust. All in all we were not impressed with the house accommodation. Maybe the units are better? However, The winery is in a central position close to other wineries, geeraween national park and restraunts. Probably good in winter months.
