Hotel Grand Nefeli

We loved our stay here, right on the beach. The staff were friendly and informative, the daily breakfast was very nice, and our room was comfortable. It is also situated at the best end of the beach. We would stay here again as it offered excellent value.

The location is fine. However the hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Not clean. We stayed 4 nights and they never changed the bed sheet and towels. The cleaners only made the beds. They did not even mop the room. No toiletries which is a shame for a supposed 4 star hotel. Last but not least, I had an electric shock when I touched by mistake into the rusted electric stove. Not worth for the money I paid. Dared to have lunch once and they brought us completely different order from the one we placed and also of very bad quality. I would be ashamed for this kind of service.

We stayed in Grand Nefeli in early October. The room was nice and bright, and very clean with beautiful views of the beach and mountains. We enjoyed very much the large balcony where overlooking the swimming pool and beach but was private enough not to be bothered/bother next door neighbours. The downstairs bar/restaurant by the swimming pool was very cosy and comfortable but most importantly, all the staff was very welcoming and helpful with any queries we had about the hotel (parking, rooms etc.) but also the local area. There was even service provided at their private beach so we could order refreshments straight after coming out of the sea. The location was perfect as it's at the end of Vasiliki (15 minutes walk to the marina) but literally right on the beach. There were still restaurants and cafes available within 5 minutes walk. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Lefkada.

Di accettabile c'è solo la posizione. Per il resto è una struttura in cattive condizioni e molto sporca. È davvero incredibile che sia classificato come un 4 stelle. Bagno e cucinotto sporchissimi e pieni di formiche. La hall dell'albergo è fatiscente, a cominciare dal bancone della reception, ed anche sporca. La colazione assolutamente insoddisfacente con piatti, bicchieri e stoviglie tutti diversi tra loro, sporchi. La spiaggia è in condizioni di abbandono con ferri arrugginiti e sporgenze pericolose e purtroppo un mare spesso sporco

Fantastica posizione di fronte al mare,splendida vista dalle camere “vista mare”,spiaggia gratis, atmosfera famigliare e tranquilla e i proprietari sono senz’altro delle brave persone.E per questo mi dispiace dover lasciare una recensione negativa su questo hotel,ma le esperienze individuali contano e possono essere di aiuto alle altre persone nella scelta degli alloggi e anche alla struttura stessa per poter migliorare. La stanza non corrispondeva alla foto sul sito,in base alla quale l’abbiamo prenotato.Nel bagno non c’era il box doccia ma solo la tenda e quindi l’acqua della doccia finiva direttamente sul pavimento e sul wc, allagando il bagno.Se avessimo visto questo in foto non avremmo mai prenotato una stanza cosi,in un hotel a 4 stelle. La tassa di soggiorno ,indicata dalla struttura nella mail di conferma della prenotazione era di 1,5 euro al giorno , all’arrivo e’ salita a 7 euro, con la scusa di aver sbagliato a scrivere l’importo corretto nella loro mail. Nella stanza c’era spesso il brutto odore di canalizzazione, La safe box non funzionava ed e’ stata definita dai proprietari non riparabile in quanto “troppo vecchia” ma intanto sul sito risulta tra i servizi in camera garantiti. Il bollitore in dotazione al nostro arrivo era sporco e con il fondo totalmente calcificato,poi per fortuna sostituito. L’aria condizionata si spegneva dopo ogni 15 minuti,per lo stacco del quadro elettrico e bisognava riaccenderla tutte le volte anche di notte. A volte dimenticavano di fornirci il tappetino per la doccia e gli asciugamani, che secondo gli standard degli hotel anche inferiori ,dovrebbero essere uno grande per la doccia e almeno uno piccolo,ma qui fornivano solo i due grandi e qualche volta dimenticavano di portarci pure quelli,bisognava andare a chiederli. Spesso mancava la pressione dell’acqua e durante le docce spariva del tutto l’acqua calda. Sotto l’hotel fino a notte tarda spesso c’era rumore,schiamazzi provenienti dalla spiaggia o dal bar dell’hotel di fianco. Poteva essere d’aiuto chiudere le finestre ma cosi’ ritornavamo al problema dell’aria condizionata che si spegneva ogni quarto d’ora. Non è un hotel a 4 stelle.
