Hotel et le Cafe de Paris

Overall good experience. We stayed for around 3 weeks. Superior room was good. We expected bit lower price than offered considering our long stay. Room was cleaned everyday. We were given room in second floor. Hotel does not have elevator. So we had to climb two flights of stairs every time. The second flight is especially tricky with a winding staircase. They helped to carry our luggage up and down. Wish there was an intercom in the room. They provide a tabl and we have to write our comminication and wait for them to respond. May not be a good practice for any urgent requirements. Sometimes the heater was being switched off during the daytime, which as bit uncomfortable for us. Generally the staff were quite friendly. We tried their restaurant only once, since we did not have much vegetarian choices, felt it bit expensive. Location is a plus. Coffee machine in the room wasn't working, but they got it replaced and it was fine. The wardrobe was just an open shelf. First time I am seeing a hotel room without a properly covered wardrobe, but we managed. Overall fine, but we would request them to provide room atleast on the first floor when we visit next time. Hotel is in a very good location , very central . Staff were very friendly . Room was a good size and exceptionally clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were handy. As mentioned by a few people the stairs are steep , a bit of a climb so you need to be prepared for that.

When visiting Appledoorn I always try to stay here. The hotel is average in appearance but has a very friendly atmosphere and is ideal for accessing the amenities of the town. Rooms are modern and clean. I always enjoy my stay here. Staff are young but very attentive.

The hotel is located Apeldoorn downtown, close to everything. The service is full of polite people, which are easy to deal with. The room is relatively big, but there’s no fridge inside all of them. I stayed in two different rooms, and there was a fridge in one of them only. The breakfast is amazing, with eggs, omelettes, fruit and bread. The hotel is also a restaurant, which serves a special food. I recomend both.

Hotel is located in the main square and on top of one of their restaurant. There also lots of restaurants and shops along the main street. Train station is around 10 mins walk, but there are bus stations nearby. You can take the bus to Giethoorn (via Zwolle) and Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. This is also the reason I picked this city. The room is newly renovated, bed and pillow is very comfortable. Bathroom is new and clean with a hairdryer. Big enough to put my big suitcase, and store my stuff. They even have a coffee machine. I think I'm in a 5-star! They don't have staff managing the reception desk, but all the staff (waiter and waitress) can help. You don't need to wait long to get help from one of the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Things you need to aware, the hotel don't have lift, you need to carry luggage through a steep staircase to 2nd floor. Luckily, the staff assist as well. Although the sound proof is not good, it only have a few rooms there, it is not a big matter. There are also noise from the restaurants in the square. To me, it is fine because it won't till mid-night. They have 2 restaurants, one is casual 'Cafe de Paris', one is fine dining 'Spicebrush de Proeverij'. I tried both. Food are so good, and not expensive. Apeldoorn is a lovely small city. There is not many point of interest, but it is good to stay there and explore the surrounding. I love to come back!
